No, not the biblical figure.
The horrible nighttime soft-rock radio host who is the cheesiest thing this side of Dr. Phil. The woman with the annoying voice and "stories from the heart." The woman who will almost always, ALWAYS, play "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan for any occasion when someone asks her to "pick a song" for a dedication. It's like she doesn't have any other CDs.
Last night I happened upon Delilah's show. A gay man called in and wanted something played for his boyfriend. He was going on and on about him, and I was trying to guess what she would play. I figured she would pick something by a gay artist, probably George Michael or Elton John, most likely Elton, and most likely, "Your Song." As soon as I heard the opening piano for "Your Song" I sat in my car (in a parking lot, by the way, as the suspense was KILLING me) and laughed and laughed. People probably thought I was insane. Delilah SUCKS. She's so predictable.

Well...yeah. SO. Ha! I was flipping, and sometimes I just turn it on to be annoyed. I hate Delilah SO MUCH. I much preferred when it was Pillow Talk.
HAAAAAAAAAA. You totally called me out. Awesome.

Don't worry -- I listen to it now and again myself (although because I work at home and Mr. Sunnyhorse just had to have satellite radio so he could listen to Howard Stern, it's been a while since I tuned in). Delilah is a tool, that's for sure.

They run her treacly crap on the soft rock stations here. My god that woman sucks. Does anyone know any dirt on her beyond what she says on the radio? I've heard her allude to a rocky past on her show but I've always kind of assumed she was making shit up to relate to the sad sacks that call into her show.

Isn't that song about heroin addiction? If so, it's freaking hilarious that so many people dedicate it to their lovemuffins. And even if it's not about heroin, it's still a damn gloomy song.

Firstly, she talks like cigarettes. That raspy laugh. Also, I totally agree with Carrier76 about her lame choices in songs. Actually, it's not the choices so much because I'm sure that she doesn't have a limitless selection of music, but she'll say how she has this great talent for picking love songs for people. Like someone will be like "Hay Delilah cain you pick me a song to tell mah boyfriend how much I loves him?" and she'll be all like "Of course! I'll pick the perfect song! . . . In the arms of an angel, fly away from here..." Last night I happened upon Delilah's show. A gay man called in and wanted something played for his boyfriend. He was going on and on about him, and I was trying to guess what she would play. I figured she would pick something by a gay artist, probably George Michael or Elton John, most likely Elton, and most likely, "Your Song." Delilah SUCKS. She's so predictable. So she actually put a homosexual on the air? I had always wondered what her policy was about that. Because I've listened to her off and on over the years and I've never heard her put any gay people on, but I have heard her put plenty of people on who told stories where they clearly indicated that they were fornicating, or became a parent at 16, or are in some other romantic entaglement that falls short of the Light of the Lord. Oh, and a few years ago I looked up her picture on Google and she looks NOTHING like I pictured. Here she is.[/color]
