Not that this is the most important issue involved by any means, but I can totally hear Naomi telling her "I told you so" and making her feel even worse about the situation (if that is possible). I am pretty sure I saw her first husband in the Oprah audience years ago. I am not sure if the soon to be ex was on too. I feel sorry for her. She really seems incredibly insecure, and she has had a lot of shit to deal with in her life. This, however, takes the cake.

Oh gosh, please don't do that. There are a lot of "high functioning" psychopaths out there who really do disguise their problems from their families for years and years until that one day they get caught. I would not blame her for this, she's a victim here too. I'm sure that if she knew she never would have exposed her kids to him.

I've felt such sympathy for her for years, ever since it started to become apparent that her entire life has been one number after another done to her by her mother, who I think is borderline sociopathic. That kind of mental fucking can mess you up for life. Mix in a dash of her snotty sister and her weight struggles, which I can relate to, and I really feel for her. But damn, this is a whole new level of awfulness.

Holy crap! I had no idea the victim would be so young..... oh geez. Just put him under the jail and be done with it.

Family history can be a factor, but pedophiles know who to go after and they're very cunning. I feel bad for her (as long as she didn't see signs and ignore them).

Thank you. I'm sure she is feeling guilty as it is and to turn his actions on her is wrong. There are monsters who are good at hiding what they do and their victims and family aren't to blame if they don't know what's going on.

ETA: I don't care for her family drama, but I do really love her voice. I love her versions of I can only imagine and I want to know what love is.

My first thought was "Oh God don't let it be one of her children." But I mean, it doesn't matter--it was some child. It's just as horrible if it were one of her children or some random, unrelated child.
