I wonder if they're going to have Jessica Alba fainting all the time like Sue Strong did.

The cast of Fantastic Four will be hosting the 4th of July weekend lineup on Comedy Central. It's the Fantastic Fourth. I would imagine there will be several clips from the movie between shows.

Is Chris Evans the guy who was in "Not Another Teen Movie"? If so, he's funny, and he might make this movie good.

(small voice...) Can somebody please tell me how to pronounce that Gruffud guy's names, first & last. I finally figured out Ciaran Hinds must be "Kieran" rather than "Sharon" but I'm up in the air about Mr. Hornblower.

It's pronounced YO-an Griffith. I think he's attractive in a Jim Carey kind of way: their face looks kind of elastic, like their jaw could unhinge.

The answer Living Stereo is yes, Chris Evans is the guy from Not Another Teen Movie. From what I can tell from those who read the comic, he seems to be dead-on with his characterization -- fratish guy who makes a lot of stupid jokes.
I doubt it considering Jessica Alba's comments in EW in which she asks not to be referred to as "Invisble Girl" - "She's an adult. She believes in family, And she's smart." Then she proceeds to whine yet again about being typecast as a pretty action-hero type. Shut up, Alba.
The movie seems odd in that you have Alba and Evans and then you have the rest of the cast being much older. I realize that Julian and Ioan have a huge fanbase of older women, but that's not the typical comic-book movie audience.
It's not a good sign when Ain't It Cool News, which loves everything, keeps saying "Hey, This New Trailer Sucks Even Less!"

The more commercials I see, the more love I have for the Fire Dude. I can't explain it. Between him and Ioan (who can bring the pretty even in Disney sequels) I think I gotta see this thing.

I know! The more commercials and trailers I see, the more I have to supress that "This isn't going to suck!" feeling. ( I don't want to get too excited. Better to be pleasantly surprised than bitterly disappointed.) ETA: The MSN review seems to like it overall, but a few concerns--pacing--are mentioned.
