The film grossed 327 million dollars worldwide, on a 87 million dollar budget, I am not surprised it garnered a sequel. I had a good time, but hopefully the sequel will be better in terms of script and development of the villain(s) It was criminal how underwhelming Dr.Doom was...here we have Marvel's most formidable comic book villain, and he is played in the film like a bummed out metrosexual... Nothing scary, menacing and certainly nothing memorable in the movie DR Doom.
BTW, that article has it all wrong: Doom is not "magnetically charged" and the Fantastic Four isn't about "mutant goods"
Seems to me he mixed his superhero films...mutants and magnetic villains...that's X-Men...
