But, I'm weak. Give me Harrison Ford in a fedora and I'm there, suck or shine. Ditto. I can't help it, craggy as he is the sight of that man in a fedora still does things to me. I'll admit that it works for me too. Especially since he was so clearly having a good time in the last movie. But after watching the actual movie, it made we wish that I had just watched the trailer over and over again, because that was pretty cool. Man, I wish someone would yank Lucas away from his keyboard and let someone else write this.

Finally saw this. I feel like there was a good movie in Crystal Skull under all the dreck. And, yeah, Karen Allen rocks. I'm so glad they got her back!

I've been sick lately & catching up on all the Marvel Avengers movies on Amazon. Watching Captain America, I really enjoyed seeing the old Indiana Jones tropes. And i really, really, really, gleefully, enjoyed seeing them one-upped and done better.
Apparently I'm still **THAT** pissed about Crystal (numb)Skull.
Speilberg once said that part of the reason he agreed to make Last Crusade was to make it up to the fans for Temple of Doom. Let's hope the planned IJ 5 is to make up for (numb)Skull. I really miss the true Dr. Jones. {sigh}

I actually prefer Temple of Doom over Crystal Skull.

TTMR & I recently re-watched the first three movies. I remember liking Temple of Doom at the time, but after seeing it again, I really thought it sucked. I wanted to slap Short Round every time he yelled, "You call him Dr. Jones!"

Why are they doing this to me again? (I know. The almighty dolla.) I love Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones SO much, but Harry's too old for this shit. ((C) the writers of Lethal Weapon. Danny Glover is also too old for that shit.)

Well at least it probably won't include LaDouche. I mean, that will automatically make it better than the last one.

How much better had they hired Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Indiana's kid. It's the same mistake they made with the young Luke in Star Wars. They can do such a great job hiring kid actors, then tank a franchise when they blow it.

Temple of Doom is one of my guilty pleasures. I could watch it over and over. Crystal Skull was dreck. Me too. Mostly because it was the FIRST Indiana Jones movie I saw. I couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 and it was in the theater and I LOVED it. Not so much the kid, but whiz bang action of it. The whole heart thing didn't bug me at all.
