Isabella R. lives in a converted barn in upstate New York somewhere. I saw it in a House Beautiful magazine. It was beautiful and had lots of stuff for kids to play on.

I don't know who Carla Bruni is, but I want her to adopt me! (She's at the top of the models list.) Gorgeous villa on a cliff overlooking the sea (Mediterranean, I'm guessing).
I clicked around till I found the actors and singers lists--I'm a nosy nellie, I guess. I actually gasped when I saw Sting's house. It's stunning. Maybe a little pretentious, but wow. If I had the money for a house like that, I wouldn't care if people called me pretentious.
George Harrison's house is beautiful, but it's incredibly ostentatious. One more spire, and it would be a Disney Princess Castle.
(I'd link if I was more skilled--you can navigate to it from the previously linked list of models' homes.)

Carla is kind of interesting. She's Italian--from the Pirelli tire manufacturing family--but she's lived in France since she was kid. She had an affair with Mick Jagger for several years during the '90s, which caused him and Jerry Hall to separate a couple of times. (The day after Mick's daughter Georgia was born, he went on vacation to Thailand with Carla, and Jerry didn't like that very much.) She doesn't model much anymore, but she just put out an album of French chanson that got really good reviews.

Ha, I wish I could send this quote to all the friends I have here in very expensive Northern VA who routinely spent their weekends during the building of their modest but expensive houses going over what the builders had messed up/left out so their houses wouldn't suffer a similar fate. (one friend was involved in a lawsuit involving about 30 townhouses that had sagging roofs because the builders had missed the joists in the roofs with their nailguns and the roofs in that row all started sagging within 10 years) It still scares me that builders in that price range would be sticking it to their rich clients. You would think they would want the repeat business and good word of mouth.

I found a couple of Manhattan celebrity homes that have lush websites: Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe's house (warning, sound) at $8.25 million. Bob Guccione's house starting at $45 million. I was amused that the 'media room' in Swank and Lowe's consisted of a flat screen tv over a fireplace. I wish the photos of Guccione's place were in color, it looks amazing.

I love that green chaise in the secong floor living room. I want a couch in that colour someday.

I'm adding that 67th Street palace to my list of things to buy if I ever win the lottery. My God, that place is beautiful! I wonder how many people have died there in the past 130 years...

BUMP!The house that Brad built. I have to say it looks damn stylish. I just wonder how much of the kudos he can really take for it!

I remember really liked Laura Prepon's house when I saw it on Cribs. I don't remember that much about it other than it looked really cozy, decorated in a rustic style with a tiny bit of flea market chic thrown in.
I once saw Jason Lee's house in In Style and I loved it. One room had the ceiling and walls painted this gorgeous deep wine color and it totally made the room.
