oooooo, I'm a terrible sneak that checks the last chapter before reading stuff, so i'd like a spoiler or two if anyone has it!!!
Of course properly masked for the good folk.

I plan to spend the whole day reading the hbp when it comes out. I've already told my boyfriend if he bothers me while I'm reading I will throw something at him.
But I'm bad at getting to the middle of the book, and thenjust going to the last two chapters of a book.

I can't decide if I want to go to the store party at Barnes & Noble and then get my book at 12:01am, or if I should go home after work, and get the book when I get up the next day. I know if I get it at midnight, I'll stay up all night reading, and may not remember half of what I read. But do I want to wait when I can get it sooner?? Decisions, decisions....

The closer it gets for the book to come out, the harder it seems to wait. I suggested to my boyfriend that we move to london for a week, just so I could get the book six hours ealire. lol
How come we haven't gotten more information about hbh. Last time it seemed that we got a least a experct from a chapter. We've hardly gotten anything.

I believe Rowling has released the titles of the first three chapters. I don't remember them, but I think one of them was called "Draco's Detour." No excerpts that I've heard of, though.

I just recently reread OoTP, in preparation for THBP. I'm more intrigued than ever to get to the rest of the story. The Sorcerer's Stone had a very lighthearted tone, and I just wanted to see what Harry and the gang (ala Scooby Doo) were going to do next. The Chamber of Secrets was a bit darker, but still had that Scooby Doo/Hardy Boys feeling to it. The Prisoner of Azkaban was when I decided that JK was really creating a world akin to that of Narnia or Middle Earth proportions. All of the characters had more depth and I got the feeling that this series was going to get "serious". (No pun intended ) The Goblet of Fire was very entertaining, a bit darker, and gave us so much knowledge about what JK intended for the future. The Order of the Phoenix was so dark, so tantalizing, and so fraught with frustration that I am aching to get the next book. I'll be at the midnight opening at my local Hastings store, and I'll probably read until it's time to shower and go to work. I'm enthralled with the story, and, if the 7th book isn't all wrapped up, I want her to write more. I want to know all about the world she has created; I want to know about Hagrid's past; I want to know about Malfoy's past; I really want to know about Snape's past; I want to know about Neville, et all. We have so much background on Harry and the Weasleys, I want background on some of the more interesting peripheral characters. LOL, I guess I'm a bit of a fangirl. And Alan Rickman is hot. That is all.

OotP was just so depressing for me that I've never been able to read the whole thing again. I find myself skipping arount to the light hearted parts. That means I find myself reading the Fred & George sections over and over again. Those along with Ron's Quiddich triumph and the last chapter.
Whenever Voldemort is referred to as "Lord Thingy" it cracks me up.

I love Lord Thingy! I think it's the pause in between the words that kills me. "We have still not found Lord...Thingy." ;D

I thought they just called Voldemort "you know who" in the books?
Cannot wait for the sixth, by the way.

The Wizarding World calls Voldemort "you know who". It's Vernon Dursley who calls him Lord Thingy, as he is certainly not wise to the ways of the WW
