A quick google (because I try to put the stuff about the books out of my head as much as possible - there's enough crap up there already) indicated that Demitri is the Volturi tracker. Since the Volturi really want Alice to join them (and she really doesn't want to), eliminating the tracker would give Alice the ability to avoid the recruitment teams.

Thanks. I was constantly looking stuff up while I was reading that bloody awful crap (did you know there's a WIKI?) I have to say, it DID help me keep everything straight, but that was one clue that alluded me. I don't know, I'm just THRILLED to be finished!!! And now I'm reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series, finally -- YAY!!!

And then you could use them both at the same time! (God, I have a sick mind!) I love what that site says: "Toss it in the fridge for that authentic experience!"

Has anyone else heard about Wuthering Heights being repackaged based on the fact that it is Bella and Edward's favourite book? LinkI am of the opinion that if it gets youngsters reading the classics then it's all good, but that cover's hysterical to me. Reading that article, I realise I didn't actually notice that Twilight made reference to so many other books. That Bella's Bookshelf blog sounds like a really good idea to get the Twilight fans reading further. I do like that Meyer seems to encourage her readers to read other stuff as well.

Has anyone else heard about Wuthering Heights being repackaged based on the fact that it is Bella and Edward's favourite book? That fact just affirms that I need to stay far, far away from the Twilight books. I have never wanted to reach into a book and slap the characters as much as I did when I read Wuthering Heights.

I thought they all needed therapy, personally.

Well, that does kind of make sense given that Edward Cullen is the Byronic Hero by way of Hot Topic...
