I had to quit going to JJ because the site took too long to load and tended to crash my computer. When our computer nerd came out to lay hands on our virus-ridden hard drive, he said the number-one culprit was probably Mr. d's bit-torrent sites, but then he pointed to JJ on the list and said, "We've had some trouble with that one, as well".

For a minute there I just saw Baxter and thought they meant Meredith Baxter-Birney! I was thinking, "Mrs. Keaton got pregnant by Joe Budden?! Isn't she a lesbian and about 60 years old?"
Miscarried fetus photos? That is so inexcusable on a gossip site.

How do stars negotiate for prime coverage on JustJared? I'm guessing that if a Brangelina or Robsten PDA-fest shows up then that gets to stay on the header for a while because it generates hits. But "stars" like Kate Bosworth and Camilla Belle, what is in it for JJ to feature them so prominently? Is it because they are "friends" with Jared? With Perez the relationships seemed more transparent; you would see photos of Perez with Gaga or Katy Perry at some party somewhere. He desperately wanted to be one of the cool kids, and they wanted the eyeballs of everyone who read his blog to help out their careers. With JustJared I'm thinking it's more that he is friendly with their publicists?

I guess red carpet appearances really do pay! Unless all those secret escort blind items are true... I've seen some other stars who are little more legit than that crowd, but the amount of coverage they get at JJ and places like that still seems a little above their fame level. Payola just seems so disappointingly...straightforward!
