Does anyone have any expertise in milk glass? We have several pieces from Mr Cho's grandparents and we are downsizing. I know they don't go for a lot on eBay, but there are also a few unusual pieces that I can't quite describe. I would totally appreciate any leads.
Completely unrelatedly, if anyone wants any milk glass, I know where you can get some.

chonies, there's a place in Greensboro, NC called Replacements, LTD that specializes in hard to find dishes and they have tons of depression glass and other stuff. They can identify the stuff through pictures and let you know what it's worth. They also buy items. It's a really cool place to visit if you are ever in the area.

How long do you guys give a seller to issue a refund through PayPal when you return an item?

How long do you guys give a seller to issue a refund through PayPal when you return an item? I'd follow up within a week; make sure he/she got the item. The refund should come immediately following receipt of the item back, yes?

In the past two months I've had to return three items, two because the item didn't work (keyboards, $20 and $28) or was for the wrong foot (an ankle brace, $89). In all three cases they told me to keep the defective item and either they didn't have a replacement (keyboards) or the sent me out a new one for free (brace). I'm surprised they didn't have me return it! I sell a product that it doesn't pay for me to have it returned, but the $89 brace? is a surprise.

One would think, Brookie. My item is a saddle -- I had two weeks to return it, and I got it back to her well under that time. She acknowledged receiving the saddle on Thursday evening (it arrived Wednesday evening) and said she would have my refund to me "shortly." Wasn't sure whether I was overreacting to be annoyed that she hasn't taken care of it yet.

What day and date?" Have her be specific about it; I'm assuming we're not talking about $1.50 here.

I listed an item for sale. The winning bidder has a "0" feedback and has not paid (the auction ended a week ago). She bid at the last minute and won. I know she's been on since then because she paid for another item she won from someone else. So why hasn't she paid for the item from me? I have opened my first ever unpaid item case. I waited three days before doing so. When I re-list it, there will be buyer requirements. Dammit, I'm trying to make a little money. Why do people have to be assholes? Don't bid if you aren't going to pay.

I use ebay occasionally. I have also sold a few used items as well. I have some things lying around that might generate a few dollars so I took some pics and tried to sell them on ebay. I find out that unless I give them my debit card info (I don't have a credit card), I can't sell on ebay.
For the small amounts I'd be making, It's not worth the security risk. By by ebay.

Jeez, I have a "friend" that bought a boat for like, $15,000 in an eBay bidding auction, found another boat elsewhere for a lower price, and just jerked off the first guy. Just said, "Hey, I'm not sending you any money. Write a bad review about me, I don't care. I don't buy shit from eBay." And that was that. He stiffed some guy on eBay. The eBay guy had to relist the boat and go through all the crap all over again.
At a regular auction, if you win the bid you have to pay. I guess eBay doesn't work the same way.
I've purchased things from eBay, with mixed results. About 1/2 of the time if it's electrical stuff it doesn't work. I contact the seller and they refund my money and tell me to trash the faulty equipment, not bother to send it back. I think they don't even bother to check the equipment (I bought three different key boards, and they all had keys that didn't work). They just figure a percentage will not bother to try and get their money back.
I'm not a fan.
