there's a new app called home that I'll never use and can go into my SAIDWACD (stupid apps I don't want and can't delete) folder I have one of those folders too! Mine is labeled "iCrap". Mine is labeled "GROSS".

I read that you can delete the Stocks app now...and that's it apparently. Gee, thanks so much, Apple.

I just upgraded and am still learning the new functionality. Can someone please explain what the finger swiping/color thingie new functionality in texting is all about? I don't get it. Am I old or is it pointless? You can write in color with your finger or send starbursts/kissing lips/hearts by following the directions. Do you know how to find that screen? Hit the A made out of paintbrushes in the messenger box. There's also balloons and firecrackers but for some reason I can't do it on mine.

Looks like Apple snuck in a feature w/ iOS 10 that can potentially eat up your data unless you manually turn it off: "Wi-Fi Assist"

Has anyone had to reset an iPad to factory mode? My mom did an update on her iPad Pro last night then rapid fired wrong pass codes trying to get back into it, to the point that she's permanently locked out. My computer wanted me to update iTunes and now it doesn't recognize any devices plugged in. If I figure that out, then is it pretty self explanatory how to reset the iPad? Our nearest Apple store is an hour away, so I'd rather figure it out myself if possible.
Thanks if anyone has advice. I don't post much but figured at least you guys wouldn't call me stupid for asking.

Thanks for the reply. This thing is like 2 months old and had never been hooked up to a computer before. When I plugged it into iTunes it said something like "can't connect to iTunes because device is locked". When I then go to recovery mode while in iTunes the little popup that you're supposed to get to start the reset never appears. Is it dangerous to try a public library computer since mine is not having it?
