Since there are some firefox users here I wonder if anyone could help me. I used to have an extension that allowed me to download embedded files from webpages, however it is not the download embedded here, it's another one and searches haven't helped, or if anyone could recommend a good one that would be fab. Kafka- thanks for the Ewido rec. I've been looking for something else as Spybot doesn't seem to catch everything these days and my friends need spyware programs with the sites they visit. (Yes I update friends computers, if i didn't no one would. One girl didn't even have windows service pack 2 until a couple on months ago idiot)

Firefox freezes on my computer if I leave something up overnight and come back in the monring to look at it. EVERY FRIGGING TIME. Which is why I don't use Firefox anymore. It's safer but not worth the aggravation. Oh dear. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have, please let me know before I download Firefox, because I leave my computer on almost nonstop. (I sometimes go out, come back hours later and realise that I'm still logged into CPMCoG.) If I had to restart my computer every morning after leaving everything up, I would not be a happy camper. December, I'm glad the Ewido recommendation was helpful.

I've never had that happen and mine is always on and connected.
Yay again for tabbed browsing. And the shortcut bar for frequently visited sites.

I don't even know what to tell you - I've had no problems with Firefox at all. I don't even us IE anymore.
It's funny, because I just got Verizon DHL (which I love), and when I was on the phone asking a tech question to one of the reps, I mentioned Firefox. She got all, "Well, you know that our system doesn't support that browser, so you'll have to use IE". Wrong - I continued using Firefox, I'm on Firefox right now, and it's working fine.

Speaking of Firefox, does anyone know how to enable SSL? For some reason when I opened up Firefox this mornig and tried to sign into my amazon account it kept saying my SSL is disabled.
Another question, has anyone installed a new graphics card on their computer? Is it not to complicated? Most nowadays seem pretty idiot proof, but knowing my luck I will be the one person who can't do it.

To install a card is easy, the only problem might be picking the right card. Depending on what use your computer for, is what you should pick your card for. I play a lot of games and the card I have it bad for it.

I have been using Firefox for years and only recently have encountered a problem. It seems when I use yahoo mail and want to copy and paste, I am unable to paste the link into my email. Does anyone else have this problem?
