Bath bombs can be cut or broken into smaller amounts. The gorilla solid perfumes are about $12 each, and if you have about $25-35, sometime gift packs can be a good buy.

I bought a jar of Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. It smells AMAZING!
Apparently their holiday products come out tomorrow. Yay!

Sigh! I still haven't been able to visit the New Lush store that opened up close to my BFF, but she of course has gone several times (must quell seething jellusy!)
But anyway, I more than likely WILL be going this weekend (YAY!) AND I have five black pots to turn in WOO HOO!! So I know I'll be getting a free face mask. YAY ME! But my BFF was counting up her pots and she has four that can definitely be turned in and one Charity Pot. She said that it doesn't have the message about turning it in on it like the other pots do, so she wasn't sure if it counted. I thought maybe it didn't have the message because they're using up the space to talk about the Charity, but I don't really know if it would count or not. On the one hand it IS a black pot and should be made from the same stuff as the others. But on the other hand, since LUSH give all the proceeds to Charity- maybe they don't want to use the leftover Charity pots as currency to get a fresh face mask.
I tried to look up whether leftover Charity Pots could count as trade in black pots and found nothing. Has anyone else turned in a Charity Pot for a fresh face mask... or tried to turn one in and got denied?

I guess it could be up to the discretion of the employee, but I definitely turned one in one time (years ago at the Walnut Street, Philly location). I think they usually err on the side of being generous and giving good customer service (as they should since, let's be honest, the profit margins on their products are also pretty generous...). Have tons of fun, GG! Tell them you're a first-timer and I bet they'll give you a bunch of samples.

We had a problem the last time we tried to turn in some pots, but I don't know if policy changed, the staff didn't want to deal, or what. Part of the problem was something like, "it's Canadian plastic, so... " Us: what? "You know, it's different." Us: Oh god. The staff wasn't nearly as fun as most LUSH employees are. If it matters, it was the LUSH in Shmacksonville Blorida.

Thanks! I think I'll tell her to take the pot and just see what they say when we get there. I may be able to scrape the remaining Imperialis out of the pot I have in case she needs a back up.
This store is in Richmond, Va (Short Pump Mall) and so far she's enjoyed going there. The only thing weird is she's been told by two different sales associates NOT to use Ocean Salt on her face. Buh?!? We both use it on our faces all the time (And our faces look AWESOME!!) They sell Ocean Salt under the facial cleansers section online and it says 'Face and Body Scrub' on the pot itself. So I'm not sure what is up with the sales associates in this particular store as far as trying to get folks not to use one of their best selling facial cleansers on their faces. I get that it can be rough on folks with super sensitive skin. But I've never had a problem using it and neither has my friend.

Question for the LUSH fans. I'm a big fan of the scent factor for my bath and lotion products. Do their products hold the scent for a long while after both showering and applying lotion? Just curious before I fork over that kind of money.
After looking at the website, I'm interested in the Karma scent. Is the patchouli heavy in an overpowering way?

After looking at the website, I'm interested in the Karma scent. Is the patchouli heavy in an overpowering way? Not in my opinion, and I wear it all the time. To my senses, the neroli is the top note, and the patchouli is quite mild (but I love patchouli). It's not fruity, with a bit of a powdery note. It goes on a bit sharp and then balances out. I wear the gorilla perfume, and I think it's milder than the liquid form. I would say it holds the scent most of a work day, but it's orange, so don't wear it near anything white. Other opinions about LUSH perfumes: the Breath of God smells like a forest fire (and not in a good way) and I love the Smell of Freedom.

The only thing weird is she's been told by two different sales associates NOT to use Ocean Salt on her face. Buh?!? A thousand years ago (OK, maybe 12), I remember it just being sold as a body scrub because the salt was coarse. I haven't tried it since. (I liked it, but it dried out my skin. Baw.) Brookie? Man. The website was out of every single damned thing I wanted to order the last time I looked at it. haha. ETA: I just spent a boatload of $$ at Lush.com - they have their holiday stuff out and now my wallet is weeping. Dang you guys!
