I'm at the point where I'll only believe this stuff when I actually see it. Me too. Bateman's talked about it in interviews before. So has Mitch. Not news. (Check out this thread in 2008, y'all.) |

Seriously, I won't believe it's happening until I'm actually in a theater and the end credits roll.
Also, I know this is an unpopular opinion and I mean no offense to anyone here, but I'm over it at this point. I had some superfans in my old job who jizzed themselves last year over the "no, really, the movie is REALLY happening soon, we promise this time" news- Just let it go and move on. It's better to have three awesome seasons of a beloved but canceled-too-soon show than to try to keep it going against all odds and fuck it up. Is it a great show? Yes. But is it the best show ever? Meh. There are plenty of awesome unusual/quirky sitcoms since AD/currently airing (Better Off Ted, Archer, Community, etc) that don't get enough love/ratings.

Exactly. I enjoyed while it was on, was sad for a little when it got canceled, and then I moved on.
And you had to go and mention Better Off Ted. I'm still sad about that one getting canceled.

Well, I'll be damned - actual progress: New episodes coming to Netflix in 2013No news yet on how many episodes or who is coming back or if the movie is still happening, but an actual deal in place for more AD! I never thought I'd see the day. |

WHAT?! Really? Finally?! I've had a great week...this is the cherry on top. I am thrilled. As long as the major players return, I'm fine with that. But isn't "GOB" busy with the Applegate sitcom? I couldn't care less if Michael Cera returns. I wonder how they will handle to lenghty lapse in time in the Bluth world?

I think Will Arnett (or someone) said previously they'd probably film it in the summer when everyone's on hiatus. I'm excited!
