And also, they would mash a few together, like Martha Stewart Goes to Jail + Hormone Replacement Female Madness.

My favorite RFTH ~coincidence story was the SVU Michael Jackson molestation rip-off. I'm just surprised the guy's name wasn't Jichael Mackson for how little they did to change anything about it.

That's the one I always think of too, scarlet! Is that the same one where Shirley was lying about her grand-kid having cancer? I think they couldn't prosecute the Not-Michael Jackson character because the grandmother destroyed their credibility?
Speaking of Law and Order, anybody hear about what's going on with Diane Neal? She's broke up with her long-term boyfriend, a magician, and is claiming he abused her, but she's actually the one on tape drunkenly threatening him and their dog. She also sounded suicidal and wailed that she "hates being poor".
These SVU ADA's have messy personal lives. Stephanie March went through a messy divorce with Bobby Flay, but is now in a relationship with a financier type and living in a $30 million penthouse. Diane Neal really needs to call up Stephanie for gold-digging advice.

They did a creepy pedo billionaire with a female procurer/enabler story on SVU years ago. I guess the lesson didn't take so they're doing another one. The guy playing the perv was really good.
What I remember of the episode seemed to have many similarities to Epstein's methods. Massages, young girls, videotaping, female procurer, promised modeling gigs. I just looked and that episode was in 2011. Disgusting that he was allowed to continue for so long.

The other thing I remember about that episode is when they went to get pubic hair samples from Not-MJ and he had had laser treatments to remove all his pubes. NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL! Oy, the messiness! Also, can't remember if it was SVU or original (I think the former), but remember when Diane Neal was a defendant for raping a stripper at a bachelorette party?

My favorite RFTH ~coincidence story was the SVU Michael Jackson molestation rip-off. I'm just surprised the guy's name wasn't Jichael Mackson for how little they did to change anything about it. That one was amazingly blatant. The one with the "totally not racist ass Paula Deen" was pretty egregious too. WTF about Diane Neal. The last I'd heard she was running for office, but clearly that didn't pan out. Edit: I just Googled Diane Neal and HOLY CRAP!She sounds like she's clearly struggling with something and I don't make light of that, but I can't help a tiny bit of amusement that Ice-T comes out of all this unscathed. That guy truly is the glue holding that show together.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on with Diane either and I don't want to make light of any of that.
But every time I read about her boyfriend, I remember the SNL game show sketch, "So You're Willing to Date a Magician".

Haha. I couldn't help envisioning Jen's magician-looking boyfriend from that one IT Crowd episode.

Haha. I couldn't help envisioning Jen's magician-looking boyfriend from that one IT Crowd episode. Same. Maybe with a dash of Kenny the Hypnotist from Little Britain.

Fun fact: At a party, I once met a friend of a friend who was an accountant on the original L&O. He said that the theme music composer gets $40,000 in royalties (WHAT) every time the theme is played. Multiply that by endless reruns, plus some other figure for the remixes on SVU and the other spinoffs and their endless reruns. That guy probably lights cigars with $100 bills like a cartoon character.
