Fun fact: At a party, I once met a friend of a friend who was an accountant on the original L&O. He said that the theme music composer gets $40,000 in royalties (WHAT) every time the theme is played. Multiply that by endless reruns, plus some other figure for the remixes on SVU and the other spinoffs and their endless reruns. That guy probably lights cigars with $100 bills like a cartoon character. That would be Mike Post, and he deserves every penny of it, though, in my opinion, not for L&O. He deserves it for the Rockford Files. And Hill Street Blues. And quite a few others. But mostly Rockford Files.

Have they done an ep about bad doctors who abused their teenage gymnast patients yet? If not, that's my guess for most-obvious RFTH plot we'll see next.

They did a gymnastics episode years ago (starring a young Kate Mara) and the plot was so convoluted I can't even summarize it. They raced through every gymnastics trope there is, starting with the Eastern-European svengali coach. The murdered gymnast was killed by Kate Mara because of her uncontrollable gymnast ambition.

One hundred bucks says there will be fits of rage targeted at co-workers and suspects, and fits of self-inflicted anguish. Also, rage and anguish.

I have been soooooooo excited for Stabler to come back and eventually have his own show. I even followed Mariska once she released their first selfie together so I wouldn't miss one thing. I mean, I have to support my Alma Mater, Law&Order University did help me with my law degree. Lol

I just watched the SVU portion of the crossover event. Did anyone else watch? Spoiler {Spoiler}I was not surprised when that, even though Stabler had promised Benson that he'd behave during interrogation of suspect, he rolled up his sleeves as if he were about to rough someone up. LOL Some things never change.
P.S. RIP to Kathy.

I love Stabler and Benson as partners, but Stabler by himself is an ass. Benson made him tolerable. I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue to watch Stabler's show once they resolve the main storyline.
