I'm tired of the freak-of-the-week storylines. This is getting Springer-esque in trying to trump itself each week with some new creepy thing. You would think most murders in Vegas would be related to money, but not according to CSI.
Although I still prefer Vegas, then NY, and Miami if I feel like snarking on something. Even with Callie and the Doppelgregger, it's not worth it.
What kills me about the autopsy is that every little scratch and bruise is relevent. Partially healed bruises? Must be a chronic abuse victim. Scratch on the lower back? They figure out an elaborate explanation connected to the case. No one ever just gets scratched or bumped in their daily lives.
If I ever end up on an autopsy table, they'll have a rubik's cube of a time figuring me out. I'm always bumping into stuff.

Can somebody do me a favor and tell me how this past episode ended? I was too tired to stay up and watch it so I missed the second half. TIA!

I'm tired of Catherine's personal life.
Her mother was not what I was expecting at all. I thought she's be more like Joey Tribbiani's agent Estelle.

Because after a couple successful years, stars of popular shows have a msguided notion of their own importance, and start to make demands, which usually include more focus on their characters' personal lives. Because they think viewers care.

Anyone else watch last night? Not bad----interesting to see Evil!Ecklie having to do some work. His people skills make Grissom look like Mr. Warm 'N Friendly.
I waited 40-some minutes in anticipation of the yummy Jason Segel, and, though his part was very short, it was fun to watch him trump Wallace Langham. I really wish they'd give JS a regular role. Thankfully, we were also treated to the equally delectable Archie Kao. I will forever stand by my assertion that the O.G. CSI has the most smokin' male cast members on t.v. Grissom, Warrick Brown, Nick, Greg, Archie, JS's Neil.......
*le sigh*

Sara and Greg have a good chemistry.
I loved getting to see more of Team Coroner(tm someone at TwoP) than usual. Doc Robbins is my kind of snarky.

Did anyone watch the infamous Tarentino-directed season finale? Any thoughts?
As I've already posted in the Disturbed TV Moments thread, Nick's predicament literally made my skin crawl. I was beyound weirded out. This, coming from someone who never even batted an eyelash the first time she watched The Exorcist. I almost had to leave the room for this.
There were also a few things that bothered me, but more in a continuity vein. It was kind of obvious that a non-regular writer wrote this script. First of all, they kept calling themselves "cops", which I've never heard any of them make particularly mention of before. Also, Warrick's whole speech about the night out w/ his girlfriend was very off. Warrick isn't usually one who's portrayed as a storyteller. I actually can't think of another ep where he had so much dialogue all at once, no matter what he was talking about. I also couldn't really get into Hodges and Greg playing games. I never really thought of them as "buddies", so that whole exchange seemed weird. I seriously doubt Greg would have put up w/ Hodges treating him like a retarded three year old while explaining the game instructions. Oh, and the whole thing w/ Nick hallucinating/imagining his autopsy by the two David's was strange. Since when does Nick even acknowledge the MEs in anything but a professional manner, never mind actually feeling like they would be making such a joke of his death?

Nick was kidnapped from a staged crime scene while the cop that was with him had his back turned.
Long story short , Gil's bug knowledge saved the day.
I still have the tape of the episode if you want it.
