I could see them killing off Richard and while it'd be terribly sad I think the show would handle that well. My question is how do they explain the absence of Sookie? I'm assuming they aren't going to get Melissa McCarthy back and she had a pretty big supporting role.

I could see Melissa McCarthy doing it; she still does Mike and Molly while making movies. And if not, then it's easy to have someone say that Sookie and family are enjoying living in France, running a bistro there or something.
Same with Richard; the show will problem open with them at his funeral or something. He was old-ish, people die.
I wonder if Logan or Dean will come back, since both actors are big names on other shows now, or if Rory will get a new love interest.

So it's coming back with a lot of the original cast members. According to IMDB, Milo, Jared and Matt will all be there. Get ready for the renewed shipping wars!

Trailer for new Gilmore Girls. I have to admit I was rolling my eyes at the beginning. I find Lorelei and Rory's banter my least favorite part of the show. But by the end of the trailer I was all in. I'm happy they got Melissa McCarthy back, even if it is just a little part. And Emily's story is totally going to make me cry.

It's been so long since I've seen the show but I when I watched the trailer I saw that Luke and Lorelei are together. Didn't they break up and she marry Christopher? I need to Google the show.

I would actually like to see Rory having a bit more of a realistic life, maybe not having the career she thought she have, succeeding yes but in a different way. I would also like to have seen Lorelei with a different man than Luke. The trailer looks good and I will be watching just to see Emily in jeans.
