Jimmy Carter's on-I love him and I find it fascinating, as Jon pointed out, that here we had an upright, conservative Born Again Christian as president-and the religious right absolutely HATES him.

Ugh. Thank God this show is only a half hour long. Jon Stewart is the worst interviewer on TV. Watching the White Stripes interviewed by Conan? Fabulous. Jon? Awkward, stilted and boring.

I see they are sort of trying out new correspondants to fill in for Colbert and Sam Bee. Why aren't they trying out any women? Especially to replace/fill in for Bee. Those little, "Ha ha we're all white men" jokes at the Emmys aren't cutting it.

I just discovered the videos on the Comedy Central site (I'm too lame to stay up and watch TDS) and Samantha Bee's Raging Bully makes me dissolve into giggles every time I watch it.

Okay, guys, I have a question that I hope you can answer!

There was a report, about, oh I dunno, seven years ago now, on Esperanto and included a hi-larious interview with William Shatner about the many, many merits of the "universal language." I've looked everywhere for a transcript or a video, to no avail. However, my question for you (if anyone can remember something so random!) is, which correspondant interviewed Shatner? I can't remember, and it's driving me insane! I feel like it might have been one of the ladies--Beth Littleford or Stacey Grenrock-Woods (or Nancy Walls...doubt it, though, probably before her time), but I really don't remember.

Anything that will help me narrow down the search for a transcript or something is mucho appreciated!

This show has the most annoying studio audience since Full House. It's an interview, not a wrestling match- shut the hell up.

But it was a beautiful beat down on High Roller Bennet. The crowd is a bit annoying, though.

I actually turned it off after the first segment because the audience was so annoying. Jon was asking very direct questions and I wanted to see how Bennet would respond, but the clapping got in the way and eventually it just makes the guest defensive.
