I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this--the bug-eyed woman on HSN with the spiky hairdo and impossibly long fingernails applying makeup under unsuspecting "volunteers'" eyes with her middle finger, flipping off the audience at home.
I swear to God one of these days she's going to stick a finger in someone's eyeball in the midst of carrying on about Signature Club A. *shudder*

Do you mean the cosmetic "goddess" Adrienne Arpel? Want a laugh, read the QVC forums on her...

So, I just bought some X-Files dvds and was rewatching "Home", the one with the inbreds, and I literally couldn't look during the scene where they beat the sheriff to death while "Wonderful, Wonderful" plays in the background. Just listening to it scarred me all over again.

Actually, Sapphyri clinging to Mo'Nique and sobbing, envoking the Lord's name during the Charm School finale made me a lil uncomfortable.

I vote for the entire last episode of MTV's Engaged and Underaged. It was about this really trashy couple in some town called Prairieville, and it was so goddamn depressing. The guy was an alcoholic with anger and control issues (I see physical or emotional abuse in their future), and the girl was this homely thing with no self-esteem.
Did anyone else see this? I know I can't be the only one weirded out by it. I've seen the show before, but it has never disturbed me before. I can usually snark at the couples, but not this time.
I am loathe to critique people for getting married young (because hell, I did it, and I've been married for 10 1/2 years now), but... wow. This one was just wrong and scary.

I saw it, RamonaQ. It was completely depressing--as was her so-called bachelorette party that consisted of her and two friends playing Crazy Eights or something. Oh, and that sad, resigned look she had in her eyes when she got married, like she was marching to her own funeral...willingly.

Oh Good Lord, I had forgotten about her bachelorette party. How sad.

The guy on "America's Got Talent" who attempted to flip over about 20 chairs and landed on his face. The way he just laid there and everyone just stood there thinking it was part of his act was really creepy. Plus the fact that they'll probably replay it hundreds of times makes me sad.
