I think there needs to be a show like SVU.

I agree with you, veronicamars. But the fact that the stories often come from real cases forces me to contemplate the enormity of man's inhumanity to man, and that is as disturbing as it gets.

One more disturbing X-Files thing: remember the ep about the boy who was afflicted by stigmata (is that the right way to put it?) The guy who tried to save him was Michael Berryman, the same guy who played one of the cannibal family members in The Hills Have Eyes.

Robson was out of the good graces of the aryans and he had to become a prag for their protection. Cutler had him strip and bend over in front of him and says "Let's spoon" At which point he pulls out a large serving spoon. there's a cut to the halls and hearing Robson scream in agony
