I really enjoyed this last episode. The Coronavirus family and Dionne Warwick sketches had me cracking up. Then Bruce had me tearing up with his song Ghosts.

Bruce and the E Street Band looked and sounded fantastic! He's 71, Patti is 67 and I want to know their secret.

I just watched the Adele SNL episode. The fortuneteller skit was the funniest (for me) of the year!
“You are living with a man. He is washing a bag of Doritos with soap. You are crying. You are yelling, ‘You need. to use. more soap!’”
“You are not flying to Paris. You are driving to Tennessee. You are crying. You are peeing in a bag in the car because you are afraid if you use a gas station rest room you will get it.”
“Get what?!? Why are we always crying? What is going to happen next year?”
“Your father is on the Zoom...”

I loved their performances, too--but the teenager inside me was really hoping for a "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" finale. My first Bruce concert was the Saturday night after Thanksgiving, 1978, and that was the last (of four or five!) finales that night...

I liked the Rona family skit. The neighbours, the Herpes (Genital and Oral, “Just call me Gen!”) stopped by to introduce themselves.
After all these years, I have a very low bar to call an episode decent: If I laugh out loud a couple of times, I’m good. If Bruce is singing, it is automatically great.

My husband laughed so hard at the Lexus December to Remember skit, if you would like to know what his sense of humor is. :-) I'm still giggling. (What? No Santa Claus Is Coming to Town? Oh Bruuce!)

Last night's episode made me realize how much I can't stand Kristin Wiig's "characters" on SNL. I lasted about 30 seconds into that sketch where she did her old timey actress character (with Kate McKinnon at her hammiest worst too). I didn't even bother unmuting for the 1940s sketch or that thing she was doing near the end with her turtleneck. And her monologue was awful too.
I like her as an actress, but I don't like her on SNL.

Her monologue reminded me of those characters that I don’t find funny at all.

Glancing around the internet, I saw that a lot of people were preemptively not watching the show because they can't stand her. I guess I was late to catch on. When she was part of the ensemble, I used to skip over her sketches but last night that was almost the whole show.
I like her just fine when she's playing it straight. The song about the whole family getting Christmas presents except for Mom was cute.
