I like this show. I like it so much better than Desparate Housewives which is getting more and more over the top. I read an article on this show and they said that it was a relationship show first and they just threw sugery in here and there. That's what it is and since it is that, I don't mind the surgeries that seem to go over the top. I may be in the minority here, but I do want him and meredith to get back together. I heard a rumor that the woman who played Meredith told some entertainment show that she had to film a shower scene with Dr. McDreamy.

Suck on that Desperate Housewives!
I love this show and I'm happy it's getting more recognition. When it first started I thought it would fail just like all the other shows that sound interesting and then no one watches. So I'm glad it gets awesome ratings. Plus out of all the lame actors on Roswell who would've thought Katherine Heigl and Emilie de Ravin(Lost) would get the hit shows?
I'm so indifferent to both of McDreamy's couplings. He's hot enough without a love interest. Burke/Christina and Izzy/Alex are far more interesting. Even Izzy/George would be more entertaining.

I agree. I find myself much more interested in Izzy and Alex, the jerk with a soft side.

I can't stand how heavy-handed this show's gotten this season (which was really just the tail-end of last season till this past episode but whatever). The parallels between Derek's cases and his damn decision are making me freakin' nuts! We get it, writers! Don't beat us over the head with some girl dying to signify Meredith's feelings over losing Derek because it's far less than subtle and because someone dying is a fate much worse and incomparable to someone getting their damn heart broken (esp. considering the fact that Meredith and Derek didn't even really have a relationship yet). We! Get! It!
I'm beginning to like the Burke/Cristina coupling though as well as seeing Sandra Oh get to do the comic material for the past few episodes. I never found her that interesting till she started getting the funny bits to do.
Oh, and I want George and Izzy to get together because I think they're both adorable, endearing, and sane. The Izzy/Alex thing has been way too obvious from the start, and I just can't stand it. Same goes for Meredith/Derek. Those two as couples will bore me to tears, I swear.
ETA: I'd be amiss if I neglected to shout out my love for Addison. She and Derek oughta stay together though we all know that won't happen since Kate Walsh is leaving soon. She and Patrick Dempsey have hot chemistry together, and they haven't even had a love scene! I suppose they never will, and I'll have to go back to hating him when he and Meredith reunite to torture me.

Teratoma. At least it turned out to be something medical and not soap operaish.

Okay, officially add me to the list of Meredith haters. I can't stand her anymore.
I'm getting sick of how every patient seems to somehow get passed off as a representation of her inner turmoil, as though her angst over Dr. McDreamy is on some level equal to the suffering her patients are going through. Puh. And now she's being depicted as the moral compass of the hospital.
Like when all the people were in the pregnant guy's room, she comes running in to shoo everyone out and then makes some statement about how she understands what this guy is going through because so many people talk about her at the hospital. Oh please. And then during the surgery she gets this morally superior attitude that she has to keep everyone from seeing the teratoma they cut out of the guy because he doesn't want to be oogled like that, so after they cut out the tumor she makes sure that none of the people in the viewing area get a good look, then she turns around and gives them this smug look like "Haha you don't get to see". Umm, hello, you're all interns at a teaching hospital. Maybe it would be educational for you to get over yourself and let your colleagues get a look at what was just cut out of that guy. But no, Meredith has to take it all over and turn it into yet another metaphor for her one-night-stand turned ill-fated relationship.
I could go on and on why Meredith bugs me so friggin' much.

Alex and Izzie are so damn hot. I guess they figured out the height issue between Katherine Heigl and Justin Chambers, just flip her back on barstools.
