Hey Bryce, Neither of those costumes looke too masculine to me, Blue hand sewn sequins don't scream butch to me, and the military uniform makes you look like a member of Pedo Pan's lamma army.I caught Bryce's moms speal about how that there are 'gays' in the sport, and then she was trying to cover by saying there is 'gays' everywhere, but it isn't her belief.that how it seemed to me.But i missed the rest of the show.

I'd like to call Child Services on every parent who had a kid in that dance competition.

Sara was completely sleeping and sick on the way to a cheer practice. Poor girl was just beat and exhausted. Sharon gave the old "don't let the team down" speech and even said Sara's lymph nodes were swollen.
Sharon's behavior at Big Dance competition was just as bad. Sara was not allowed to look at her biggest competitor. The funny thing was that Sara hasn't gone against this other girl since they were in kindergarten.
Trenton's Dad wrote a letter to Univ. of Michigan caoch Lloyd Carr. He was just letting the coach know that Trenton is interested in playing at U of M. Trenton is 8 years old. Carr probably won't be there in 10 years.

Thanks Topher. It just gets worse and worse. Did Trenton's dad write the letter in crayon?

Don't laugh. That might be a good "in" since Domino's is headquartered just outside of Ann Arbor. You used to be able to get whole pizzas at the stadium.

I lived this skating life and I just have to say this.
If Bryce was a girl he would have NEVER made it out of the first cut of any competition that matters. He only got through because he is male and the are 30 females to every male competing. Males sometimes medal automatically because the are so few of them competing.
His mother is crazy. Why does she sit and watch a 16 year old skate for 3 hours? My daughter was much younger and I used to drop her off and pick her up, didn't need to see the drama. Those coaches are paid big bucks to deal with that.
His coach is a hack. The reason Bryce is such a poor jumper is because he is such a poor skater. His posture and footwork are atrocious. Jumping is difficult enough, its even harder when you body isn't properly aligned. In this sport, if you can't do the basics well, it will come back to haunt you.
Bryce never finishes a program in practice. Before competitions, especially nationals, skaters run through their program 5 or 6 times during a practice session. His coach should be insisting he do this, instead she stands there and bitches. My daughter's coach would have thrown her off the ice for that crap. He is TOTALLY unprepared for the most important competition of his life. At the level he is competing at, there is some real talent.
His mom must be delusional, to fly cross country, stay at hotels, pay coaches expenses for the trip (airfare, food, hotel and often missed lessons of other students) when this kid has a next to zero chance to accomplish anything.
