I wasn't that impressed by The Plan. The whole plot just didn't quite gel for me (I really think Espenson should stick to the light and funny, because serious drama just doesn't work right), and if someone could get Syfy to quit with the random naked ladies, I'd greatly appreciate it. (And I'd like an explanation of the topless bartenders. And why it looked like some of the women were running around the bathroom naked while all of the men were at least wearing underwear.)

I thought The Plan was pretty awful. It seemed like nothing but a clip show with a few deleted scenes thrown in. I didn't feel like we learned anything that couldn't have been guessed at before. If we were going to learn something about the Cylons, I much rather would have seen the Final 5's creation of the other Cylons, or the destruction of the first Earth, or basically anything other than what we saw. The whole thing just seemed like it was trying to make it look like the writers had the entire series planned out since the beginning, when it's obvious that it wasn't.

I did like getting a chance to see some of the other planets, though. I hope we get to see more of them in Caprica. (Uh, the series, not the planet.) I did like the relationship between Chief and that lady who was married to Simon, it was understated and sweet. But I think the best part of the whole thing was the music. Seriously, can Bear McCreary ever do wrong? The song during the end credits was so amazing!

I loved The Plan! It felt like someone had written a really epic fanfiction filling in all the blanks from the first two seasons - the first especially, when TPTB weren't sure exactly what the cylons were doing or how these events were connected - and then it managed to get filmed. I thought it was a lot better than Razor, and I liked Razor.

Wow. I just finished Season 3 and I'm really disappointed at who the four cylons turned out to be (with the exception of Chief, something was always weird with him). I guess this is as good a place as any to gripe about it. I guess I'll soothe myself with characters like Dualla and Gaeta, who I find endlessly interesting for some reason.

I'm looking forward to Caprica premiering next month. It'll be great to see Polly Walker, who I loved in Rome.

I'm caught up in time for Caprica! I really, really wish I could've seen BSG in real time...there's so much I miss when I'm speeding through a series. I'm about to watch Razor, then the Plan, I hope.

Man, I really liked Dualla and Gaeta. I'm still stunned by their storyline endings. I thought Helo was an absolute dork. And I remain depressed about the whole Final 5/Final Cylon outcome. But such is life. I'm glad to be somewhat current, finally. I'm going to the BSG wiki to catch up on the whole "Earth before Earth before Caprica before Kobol" timeline because I'm frankly lost there.

Rescued from Page 12, which shows you how well I keep up with stuff. Anyhoo, I'm working my way thu Season 2 and enjoyed the heck out of finding Pegasus and the Cain & Abel...I mean, Cain & Adama...walk-off, Starbuck stranded on Caprica, destroying the Resurrection Ship, etc. A few shows in this time-frame got pretty soapy and I was getting sick of leggy blonde Cylon's chick's appearances in Dr. Baltar's twisted little mind UNTIL leggy blonde Cylon chick is reborn on Caprica and twisted little Dr. Baltar shows up in her mind. Duelling halucinations! This show just got about a thousand percent more interesting.
