I stopped watching this 2 or 3 seasons ago (?). When they started promoting those 100 calorie snack packs of cookies and cheez-its I couldn't take it anymore. Those stupid little bags are not going to help you change your eating habits. It seemed so irresponsible and annoyed the shit out of me. Especially since there is such a heavy focus on exercise on the show with very little info on eating right. In fact, it seemed the only time they discussed proper diet was when they were promoting a product that had nothing to do with a proper diet.
Then there is the drama. Oh, the drama! Binging has a lot to do with being overly emotional and dramatic. TBL did nothing to curb that behavior and rather encouraged it. Are they still having those challenges where they are tempted by a pyramid of brownies or something. More unhealthy food logic. I hated those too. Holy cupcakes! I had forgotten how much I ended up hating this show.

I watch this show, too, but only because nothing else is on tv at that time period. And the only part I like to watch is the weigh in and the very last part when they give the update on the evicted contestant.

I want to punch Ron and his terrifying six-pack of moobs in the neck. But it's Bob's Team's own fault for not getting rid of him a long time ago. I loved how they were all complaining that they never win any challenges against Jillian's team when all they did was vote off the athletic people and keep Ron with his bad knee and his bleeding ulcers and his terrifying moobs. Gee, if you want to win challenges that will give you immunity why don't you keep that guy who can actually keep up with people like Tara and get rid of the guy who looks like Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama when he takes his shirt off? I feel guilty for laughing, but that is so true. I didn't know whose side to take in the Ron/Filipe argument, since Filipe/Sione acted like such pussies when they made them switch trainers. That was the most embarrassing thing I've seen on this show since those two brothers from Boston who sobbed like they were about to be executed right before one of them got sent home. I think one of them was named Mark. I'm rooting for Tara to win this season. Her teammate is a whiny brat, but I like her.

I'm rooting for Tara too. I had a soft spot for Mandy and Aubrey, but their stupid team voted them off. They weren't the best weight losers but they were strong and competitive and might have been a threat against Tara in the challenges. I don't feel a feel a bit sorry for the team that keeps Ron and his "terrifying six pack of moobs" (thank you Kostgard )

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to say I can't believe Mr Six Pack Moobs made it to the final four. Urg. At least they're not doing the weigh-ins shirtless anymore.

What he did to Kristin was really shitty.

I hate sneaky Ron and his terrifying moobs. I like Mike because he seems more honest. I have to go out and buy some Fibre 1 bars, Extra gum, Green Giant Vegetables and everything else they advised me to eat so I can really enjoy watching the Finale. While standing at the check out last night I noticed Tara on the cover of one magazine and Kristin on another. They both looked so great. I am surprised they can do this before it the Finale has been aired.

I haven't watched this for a couple seasons... but Jillian is back!!! (Some folks are speculating that now that she has a couple kids she's realizing she needs to start college funds with some Biggest Loser money) But whatever the reason, I'm really glad she's back to yell at everyone and make them cry. I haven't had a chance to watch the newest episode, but in the previews there was plenty of yelling and crying and of course puking. Good times good times.

Jillian is back and so am I. I know the show uses questionable tactics, but some of their tips are pretty good. Lots of crying, puking, and falling last night. Spoilered for GirlyGhoul: One woman actually quit. She had a serious mental block, and said she's going home to seek therapy. Good idea. I sorta get why they're addressing childhood obesity, but following the kids and monitoring their weight loss? I don't know if I agree with that. Seems like a lot of pressure to put these kids in the national spotlight that way. I know they won't be weighing in on the big scale, but people can look at them and tell if they're lossing or not.

I missed the beginning. Are the kids involved in the game show portion of the show? Do they have a chance at the money, or are they there to inspire their team and viewers?
