What the hell? Coach Taylor is the exact opposite of Mike Leach. Damn, way to squash the squee.

I was so excited when I read this story confirming a FNL movie until I got to this part: Mike Leach? Seriously? Opinion in this town is divided, but I cannot stand this asshole and I am so glad he is gone. In my opinion, Mike Leach is everything wrong with the culture of Texas. If the FNL movie is actually based on his asshole behavior then I'm out, and it crushes me to say that. I can't even type Eric Taylor and M*$e L#@*h in the same sentence. My interpretation of that is that the plot will be based on the Craig James versus Mike Leach confrontation. Not that Coach taylor's character will be anything like Mike Leach. The righteous coach will have to confront a powerful parent who will be the villain of the piece. The villain will be based on the asshole that is Craig James.

Yes, yes ... but the real question is: will Tim Riggins really make an appearance?

Didn't they already do a storyline about the conflict between Coach and an overbearing, unethical father? Wasn't that the reason for the move to the new school?

Yes, Witchie, they did do that storyline already with Janine Turner as the mom. Whatever. This movie doesn't sound very good, but maybe the show's creators will prove me wrong. They certainly are talented. And 'cause it can never be said enough...Riggins!

I've had the final season of FNL on DVR for god knows how long. I didn't think I could stomach watching the entire season, seeing as I'd be a hot mess with tissues all around me by the end of it, I decided to bite the bullet and only watch the series finale. Yup, cried through practically the entire episode and had tissues all around me. Though the finale was a bit too wrapped up with a bow (specifically them winning State on a Hail Mary pass... it always happens that way in their games), it was practically perfect and I probably wouldn't change a thing about it. At the end of the day, no matter what happens in a football game, life goes on wherever you are. For Buddy who was back to being the #1 booster at East Dillon, to Matt and Julie in Chicago, and the Taylors moving to Philadelphia, life goes on.
I still can't believe that more people didn't watch this well-scripted and well acted show.

I just started watching this show a couple days ago and I'm on episode 8 of season 2. I can't believe I took it so long for me to watch! It's well-written and acted. I love Matt Saracen and Santiago makes my heart hurt.

Well, if you're liking Season 2, you're in for a treat because most people (including myself) feel that Season 2 was it's weakest season (although still good).

Well I kind of want them to kill off Julie. I don't remember being so obnoxious as a teenager.
