I think the actor who plays Chris is a cutie. Marlo though is one scary motherfucker. It definately is his eyes. They are just cold as ice. I think he is one of tv's scariest bad guys. Kudos to Jamie Hector.

I think Chris is hot, too. Or the actor is, anyway. I'm ashamed to admit that I got into The Wire mostly because I thought he was so cute - I caught a couple minutes of the show one night, featuring him and Marlo talking, and I was like "Damn. I'm in." And then, of course, turns out he's a cold-blooded hitman.

Marlo looks like a psychotic fetal alien to me.

Marlo is a scary, scary looking dude. And both he and Avon Barksdale totally have/had feline eyes - maybe that's their casting necessity for big man drug dealers?

Such a good, good show. McNulty is crazy...Marlo is really crazy this thing is gonna come to head and soon. Wow. It's amazing how the drug world and the police world are almost exactly alike.

I'm watching the early episodes on On Demand, so big spoiler ahead for next week -

Holy shit, poor Prop Joe. What a way to go, Marlo telling you to take a deep breath and staring at you with those cold, dead eyes. I wonder if it's a common nightmare in the city, that familiar buttondown creeping up behind you. Also, I'm not sure, but did Cheese sell Joe out? And who was the guy that Chris and Snoop delivered to him? And now it looks like Dukie might be going into training with Michael next week... poor Duke.

This show is awesome. I'm starting to get depressed that it's almost over.

I watched the early episode too, and to answer your questions...SPOILER:

Yeah what an unexpected shame about Joe. Damn. Marlo is a motherfucker. And yes, Cheese sold out Joe, that's why he told Marlo, "I was always dissapointed in that boy". The guy that Chris and Snoop delivered to Cheese was the man that Cheese was arguing with in the Co-Op meeting. The one that Cheese said "pees like a bitch". I guess he made a deal with Marlo that he would give the whereabouts of Prop Joe if they killed that guy for him. Prop Joe was laying low because of Omar (now that's a scary motherfucker in that redneck duster he wears) and Cheese told Marlo where to find him.
