I've wanted this since the finale, so I'm excited.

Damn, it’s been quite an exciting couple days for streaming programming announcements. This is actually the only kind of Breaking Bad sequel I’d be interested in seeing. But Jesse damn well better be alive and in one piece at the end or so help me Vince Gilligan!!!!!

I didn't realize how invested I still was in the story. It wrapped up perfectly. Freedom for Jesse, and death for Walt after making things right (as best as he could) for his family. But what about the aftermath of all that? How far in the future is the movie happening? Will we see Skylar, Walt Jr., and Holly? What about Marie? How is Jesse living on the run? Did he have money stashed somewhere? The last thing I remember is him being arrested with the bag of money he was tossing on people's doorsteps. That's still in police custody, right? He shouldn't have access to that. Did he try and see Brock, and take him with him on the run? Will we see Saul again? I have faith in Vince Gilligan, but no one was really asking for this. I hope he doesn't ruin his legacy with a poor followup.

They really seem to be keeping a lot of it under wraps. I looked for a cast listing on IMDB, and it only lists Aaron Paul and the actor who plays Skinny Pete (who is in the trailer). So they aren't letting us know who else is in it (yet). The log line only says that Jesse is on the run from the police and "tries to escape his own inner turmoil." Aaron Paul also said people should watch this scene to prepare for the movie. So, I guess if you're into Jesse Pinkman getting his guts ripped out (emotionally/metaphorically speaking), this may be the movie for you (and Aaron Paul IS really good at playing that stuff).

Aside from Better Call Saul, I never expected to see anything from the Breaking Bad universe again. I also never expected to want to see anything from that world again, but I'm looking forward to watching this. Give me closure on the Jesse story, Vince!

Ahahaha, go to the comments, and find a hellacious argument over which is the better TV show, Game of Thrones or The Sopranos, and I can't. even. *only ever watched about 20 minutes in total of GOT, in case you were wondering.
