Foo Fighters' videos, concert clips, etc. on repeat. Mourning/devastated by Taylor Hawkins' passing. Condolences to his family, bandmates, and friends.

I miss 1990s music. I love 1970s music. I love 1990s music. The 1980s, though? The one 1980s act I love love love is X. Los Angeles punk band. I've seen them lots of times. Love. Them. Any other fans?

I became a fan of theirs in college. I have interviewed three of them!
Lately I have been listening to plenty of Gang of Four too.

I can't stop listening to Rage Against The Machine. So much to love about them. Right now it feels like a perfect soundtrack.

I can't stop listening to Rage Against The Machine. So much to love about them. Right now it feels like a perfect soundtrack. I feel you, especially after this Tweet.I just listened to Farewell Aldebaran, the 1969 album by Judy Henske and Jerry Yester. I’ve been doing quite a bit of posting in the Recently Deceased II thread, and I listed her as someone who sadly recently died. Within the first 10 seconds of the opening song “Snowblind”, I was hooked! The whole album is available on YouTube, so take a listen. And thanks post to Karrit, who loved to listen to her music, she did have an amazing voice. Rest in peace, Judy (December 20, 1936 – April 27, 2022).

Wow. Excellent cover of one of my favorites from one of the most under rated bands. I didn’t even miss Mankey’s tasty guitar work. Seriously great, thanks for posting!

Wow. Excellent cover of one of my favorites from one of the most under rated bands. I didn’t even miss Mankey’s tasty guitar work. Seriously great, thanks for posting! Coming from a professional musician such as yourself, that is high praise. I don't understand why Concrete Blonde never enjoyed more success. Johnette Napolitano's vocals still give me goosebumps after all these years. And Jim Mankey (native Washingtonian!) is also criminally underrated. Have you seen the Sparks' documentary? He played bass on their first two albums.
