The thing that cracks me up is that, yeah she probably was set up by the producers. But it would have been a moot point if Sharon hadn't opened her mouth and let all the garbage flow out. She's clearly one of those people who sees racism as only being white hoods and nooses. So to her way of thinking she's not a racist. That's exactly why she stood up for Piers Morgan. There are clips of Piers doing the same thing Sharon did. Asking a black person to give them examples of what is racist. Piers Morgan was on his show before he quit, telling someone they had to show him the racism and that's what Sharon did to Sheryl Underwood. If there isn't a burning cross on your lawn you can't get people like that to believe racism is a real thing.

She has a looooong history or assholery in the heavy metal world. She used to send boxes of crap to people she disliked which was something she freely admitted to and thought was hilarious. People belief she's a nasty person because she is one.

I recently saw an interview that Sharon did with Barbara Walters back in the heyday of the Osbournes. Sharon said her father hired a hitman to kill her when she stole Ozzy from him as a client. So, as far as being a horrible person, we know she comes by it honest.
She somehow caught lightening in a bottle with The Osbournes and it propelled her into fame and the public spotlight. I never thought that she would hold onto public celebrity as long as she has.
I agree with the post above about Sharon being a long-time hellion in the metal world. She ripped off so many musicians over the years. I was disgusted when I found out that she used to charge small music acts to play the second stage at Ozzfest. I also remember that she got Eddie Trunk fired from his show on Sirius because he commented that it was terrible that she still was propping up Ozzy to perform like Weekend at Bernie's.

Man, we love Eddie Trunk! My husband I used to watch his show on VH1 Classic, “The Metal Show,” and I’m not even that into metal. I just think he’s a cool dude. Sharon sucks.

We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts. Ha-ha! Someone behind the scenes must have been pissed off to have made that statement. That is what Sharon gets for trying to throw the network and production under the bus. During this week's hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew. The irony is that Sharon, one person who apparently needs diversity and sensitivity training the most, won't be around for it. I'm a little pleasantly surprised that Sharon was let go.

The problem to me is less that she didn’t understand the racist things Morgan has said about Meghan, and more about HOW she said it. The “don’t cry, I should be crying“ nonsense. My own company kicked listening sessions/diversity and sensitivity training into high gear after the events of last summer. That’s the perfect forum for talking through what you think, feel, etc.
But it’s a work place, and you can’t go around screaming and insulting people. But that’s not how the people who support Sharon will see it. They’ll say she is being railroaded because she expressed her feelings. A lot of people think that the women on these talkshows are just a group of friends sitting around when they are coworkers first. They may eventually become friends in their off time, but part of their job is to act chummier than perhaps they really are.
