What a match between Lleyton Hewitt and David Nalbandian! Looked more like a final than Day 2.
And what happened to Hewitt that he's not even ranked anymore?

A combination of injuries, bad match-ups, and nearing the natural end of his career.
I didn't watch the match, but I was rooting for Rusty in my mental draw. Both of them are in Rafa's half, and Fat Dave always gives Rafa trouble. I want the Rafa Slam to happen, so it's better for my sanity if Rafa's troublemakers lose early.
I was happy to see Ivanovic lose last night. Her fist pumping irritates me so much. I think I'd rather hear the women shrieking/grunting than see Ivanovic's fist pumps.

Lleyton is an arrogant twat. I'm glad he lost first round I always find myself cheering for Kim Klijsters when I see her play, she seems like such a lovely well-rounded person.

Anyone watch that insane Djokovic/Nadal final? I was tired just watching it. 6 hrs of tennis! I really was pulling for Djokovic but I thought his body was going to fail him in that 5th set. I'm really excited to see if Djokovic can win the French this year.

I think Djokovic really wants to prove that last year wasn't just luck (though I can't imagine who'd seriously think that). He can win the French but since Nadal is like from another planet when he plays on clay it will be really difficult.
Andy Murray really is the No 4 player right now, isn't he? I wonder if he'll just have to wait until Nadal and Federer will become older/injured until he progresses or if at some point he'll manage to do that by himself.

I can't stand to watch the women play anymore because of all the grunts, groans, and screams. Something has got to be done about that. Come on, gals.... women have played for years without that shit.
And I'm equally sick of "Uncle Tony". We get it already. Stop acting like the guy invented tennis.

Anyone catch the Nadal/Rosol match last night? Rosol was unbelievable in the final set. He didn't freak out that he wasn't "supposed" to send Rafa home in the second round at Wimbledon. Though once he won, during the post match interviews, he did seem a little dazed and bemused by just how well he played.

Federer is (as I type) having a rough time himself today. I'd love to see a change of the guard and get some new faces in there.

Federer was very, very lucky today. As much as I like him I would have loved the reaction of he'd also gone out early. The British papers would have been practically handing the Wimbledon title to Murray which of course would make him choke even more than he usually does........

If Murray doesn't get to the final this year, it's hopeless. He would always run up against Nadal in the semis and the man has been in five Wimbledon finals. But Murray, I am not a superfan of his or anything but I do think he's a lot better than Tim Henman so I want him to make the finals at least once.
