He was so eeeeevil in Very Bad Things. Can anyone remind me what happens to his character at the end? I'm pretty sure he's the one who gets beaten up by the Jeanne Tripplehorn character -- she loses the fight but boy she didn't go down easy, to his surprise.

I think he's sexy as hell, but he never seems to be in the kind of movies I'm interested in seeing.

Common misconception since they had the same last name, and it was Christian's film debut, but Helen Slater is not his sister. Christian got the Slater name from his stepdad, actually.

I also think he's very talented, but underused and underrated.

Whew. I'm not sure why I thought he might have died when I saw the thread, but I am relieved. It's not like he's Robert Downey, Jr. or something.


Heathers is one of my favorite teen angst movies of all time. My mom got the DVD for me last year because she remembers me loving it so much when I was in jr. high. (Yes, I'm old! Shut up! On that note, how bizarre it is to watch Heathers with my kids and hear them tell me how 80's it is? Like it's old or something..... the 80's were just YESTERDAY, dammit! lol.

Anyway, glad he's not dead.

The only Christian Slater film which I sat through an entirity is Bed of Roses.
It was absolutely mesmerising to watch, more so for the mis-en-scene than Christian Slater's acting.

I was a little curious if he was on something last night, while on Conan. He kinda seemed like it at times.
