Didn't Dennis Rodman say she wasn't anything spectacular in bed?

A year ago she had NOTHING to say about Britney - she totally dismissed her as some nutjob whom she had zero contact with. I disagree. I don't think she dismissed her as a nutjob. I think she very respectfully did not get on the bandwagon of dissing Britney, the easiest target in the world, when lots of people where asking her about it. The most she said was when Lettermen reminded her how Madonna once gave him her panties (ah, classic Madge) she just said slyly maybe you can give them to Britney (after the commando situation). I think this was drummed up as a major smackdown when it was just a bit cheeky if anything. I've always thought that one thing commendable about Madonna is she doesn't slag of other celebrities, particularly those other female pop stars she's in direct rivalry. You can find on youtube Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson and Courtney Love dissing her, and her response has actually been the high ground. She doesn't dish it back.

Seriously, there is no mystery left in Madonna's life. X-rays would be the only way to reveal something about her that hasn't been public for years.

My brother was adopted from a college girl whose family may have had the financial means to support him but she felt she wasn't ready to be a mom. I feel like the Madonna situation is different because she took a child from the Third World when she knew his father was alive and wanted him. Instead of building a school to proselytize her cult she could have helped him out or even employed him there. I just think this adds a taint to his adoption. Yes, I am sure it happens all the time but she is supposedly trying to save the whole country not just build her family.
Oh, I think there's a lot he could reveal, it just wouldn't be salacious. He knows how her family really feels about her, secrets about her relationships, who she screwed over and how she treats her kids, staff, Guy, etc. I think if this isn't a book that she signed off on she could really be hurt (not careerwise).

The only thing Chris Ciccone could shed light on that would interest me is Madonna's early childhood and her relationship with her father. Her video for Oh, Father implied that her father was a depressed widower who beat her. I always thought if he didn't really abuse her it was extremely low for her to make an obviously personal video making it seem like he did. Also, I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that her dad married the nurse who had taken care of her dying mother shortly after she had died. That alone would be some messed up shit for a child to deal with.

I don't think her father was physically abusive, I think he was emotionally distant. Wasn't the woman he remarried their housekeeper?

I did some Googling and it was one of the housekeepers that her father apparently married a couple of years after her mother's death. Not quite as tragic as I had thought, but still a difficult thing for a child to deal with.
There was also some mention of Madonna and her siblings being sent off to live with various relatives after her mom died. Wallowing in your own pain and not being there for your kids just after their mother died would definitely be emotionally distant and quite selfish. Man, reading about this stuff almost makes me feel sorry for her.

Supposedly, the kids were also forced to call her mom and Madonna always resented her father and her stepmother for it. If true, can't say I blame her. Though she has been quoted saying she thinks she was too hard on her stepmother growing up.
