Some times I think people like Madonna need a stable adult in their lives to tell them, no.

While yes, she has always been about the controversy and it seems to me that nothing is too much for her to wallow her tremendous ego in. She has done a "homage" photo shoot recreating Marilyn Monroe's final shoot. But, bitch she's Madonna so she couldn't stop there, no no no. She also had to shoot a recreation of Marilyn's death scene.

I looked at the cover of the magazine she did the shoot for and I couldn't tell if it was Kylie, Khloe, or Kim. She looks more like a Kardashian than Madonna.

Madonna is just a hallow pale imitation of what she once was and even then she was really always nothing more than an imitation of someone else, so what does that leave? Nothing. She's empty. She says she is going to work until the wheels fall off and if she is already exploiting someone's tragic death, I shudder to see what the future has in store.

Yes, she may be Madonna, but she's no Marilyn Monroe. At the very least, Marilyn could act.

And I genuinely would love to understand why any woman would want to look like one of the KarJenner women. They're the most average looking women I've ever seen. Without the plastic surgery and pancake makeup, other women wouldn't go out of their way to look so average.

OMG...she once had one of the most stunning faces in the world, and now she looks like Cher and Joan Rivers' lovechild. Also, she looks high AF. What happened to the Madonna who claimed she never did drugs or whatnot?

It's likely she's high on opiates. She once stated on The Late Show that she likes opiates.

Considering her proclivity for plastic surgery she has likely had more than a few percosets, and possibly won herself an insidious addiction in the process.

I wonder if a substance abuse issue is behind some of the more extreme plastic surgery cases. It would be a good way to live in denial about ones addiction. I know body dysmorphia is part of it, at the very least it's a co-morbidity.

It seems to me that Madonna has always had a dysmorphic view of her body. That with the discordant sensation of not feeling as old as you look/are, along with societal beauty standards, it really messed with her head.

To me, Madonna has always seemed so focused, self-empowered, and confident that I expected that she would own her age and make it cool. I am really disappointed that she fell victim to the pressures to look young, but she's human.

Having recently turned 50 and loathing my laugh lines, I can understand the inclination for a nip and tuck. I figure that's what filters are for, unfortunately there isn't a filter on my mirror and sometimes I see myself
and wonder, "who is that old lady?"
