True but sometimes not commenting on it seems to imply confirmation of the rumors. Maybe they want to hold off the media frenzy as much as possible or maybe they haven't really come to decision about ending their marriage or not. I think the media went into overdrive because Madge's rep didn't deny it at first. Sometimes silence just makes things worse than issuing a likely untrue denial.

It's horrible but the first thing I thought was 'A-Rod does like masculine-looking women' - his wife is um, rather harsh looking in my opinion.

I detest A-Rod but have no issue with Madonna. I have to think he'd be a little smarter about getting caught but his stripper dalliance last year showed he's pretty careless.

I think she likes the attention whether good or bad. She has a tour coming up and I wouldn't put it pass her to use her marriage situation for extra publicity. She has no scruples when it comes to selling whatever she has to offer to the public.

Guy looks thrilled to be there. So they just took a nice walk to a close restaurant - how lucky they just happened to be seen! And I read that they only stayed an hour, and went back home. Not that you have to sit in a restaurant for a long time, but that just made it seem all the more calculated.

Let's not forget that this woman essentially invented modern famewhoring as it is now practiced, so everything she does is calculated and thought-out. The fact that she and A-Rod share a manager should say it all. She has to come up with new ways to keep people talking about her, especially since she is promoting a tour. She's already done sex/nudity, she's done single earth mother, she's done spiritual quester, she's done contented duchess in her country cottage, she's done international adoption, and now she's doing cougar in a troubled marriage. It's all spin and she's not going to divorce him until she needs to play that card for pr's sake. While she's getting play just for the rumors she's going to work that. She's good, but she is getting transparent at this point.

And several of these things have been done recently (and better) by Angelina Jolie, so instead of Madonna behind ahead of the curve, she's behind it.

Not to mention the fact that Kaballah is a cult and that would naturally put her as out of touch with the rest of the world as Scientology.
