There was a scene where Bella looks at Edward, furrows her brow, and then shakes her head no as she said, "I love you" like she is confused. And then Edward looks at Bella and furrows his head, shakes his head no and says, "I love you" like he is equally perplexed. It was possibly the worst acting that I have seen this year. These two are actually in a real-life relationship! They have said those specific words to each other, I am sure (I hope) hundreds of times, and still could not make that scene look real and believable.

Didn't Joey from Friends say that actors who are really doing it have no chemistry? Maybe that is what is going on with Rob and Kristen in these movies.

The ending credits were very well done, bravo. And the scene where Bella beats up Jacob--KStew pulled it off. It was probably the first time that I have ever found her believable and sympathetic. She does angry well.

Found a new one. Aro's laugh. I "watched" this schlock last night on bootleg, and it was baffling. What a clusterfuck. The 10 minute battle didn't make up for anything. I've seen better fights on Xena: WP and Smallville, and better special effects. What an embarrassment.

Walking into rooms, shaking my head while saying 'I love you...no, I love you.' Thanks for the visual, lol!

And then I think of that scene in Legally Blond where Elle slaps David across the face as a kindness. Elle: Why didn't you call me? We spent a beautiful night together and I haven't heard from you since. David: [pause] I'm sorry? Hee hee.

Ha! I cannot decide if they were truly trying to emote, or if by this time they were like--oh hell, screw it. I have seen more realistic professions of love on teenage soap operas.
That being said, it must be super painful for these two to be known as the couple from Twilight. Most "serious" actors would cringe at the reference, but for hipsters it must be a fate worse than death.

I rewatched New Moon today to see if I'd missed anything (since I haven't viewed any of these in the theater) and 1) seeing Edward truly sparkle for the first time was worth the entire viewing and 2) I'm still convinced Taylor L. is the most talented of the three, who doesn't gasp-talk or stammer his way through a sentence and 3) I cannot believe how ugly those wigs make Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene, plus most of the male cast; Stellan (Kellan?) is unrecognizable, as is the southern guy who won't leave Ashley's side.
All I could think were, these were Stewart's BEST takes? The director was never like "Just say the whole--Kristen, I'm serious--say the whooole sentence. Don't gasp, bite your lip or tug on your hair. No intasp, exhaling, grunting or confused headshaking. Just say the words STRAIGHT OUT!" And going nuts when she couldn't do it. Also in my head, I imagine the script as interpreted as being riddled with ellipses. "Edward...I...you...know...how I feel. I...just...wanted to tell...you...I also...love...Jake but not...in the same...way?"
