That seems to be how she talks in real life, so it was probably really easy to get into character. The only real acting challenge in playing Bella was not tossing in some "fucks" between the lip biting, eye rolling, and stammering.

The funniest part of NM will always be RPattz's airbrushed abs. Dude, you are fooling no one.

I noticed from movie to movie "Edward's" accent was all over the place as well. Not Brit to US--but like a "I'm Robert Pattinson" to "I'm Count DraCULA!"accent. Other times he's barely whispering (or maybe he's sparing us from his teeth; he's got a bizarre smile, IMO). But seeing it a second time, I could see how young folks/girls could buy into all the true love messages: "You're everything in my life" "We'll be together forever BUT I refuse to pressure you for sex and surprise! I care about your virtue so stop trying to seduce me, we won't f*ck till we're married!" and the fateful lines of BD2--"No one's ever loved anybody as much as I love you." Which is like, not overkill at ALL.

That annoyed me in the first one, the whole "You are my life now" overwrought sentiment. You spend one afternoon jumping through trees and suddenly your life has no other meaning or focus? It is like it was written by a thirteen-year-old.

Apparently just being 'new' in Forks is enough to make everyone, including immortals, lose their shit over you. All she wore, iirc, was brown and navy blue. And she was accident prone. Who'd bother?

Ugh - I saw Breaking Dawn part One yesterday on cable - holy crap, if you skip through all the long sections of people staring blankly and looking constipated you can watch the whole thing in about half an hour. Only interesting thing was how they made Bella look so emaciated.

I like to watch Breaking Dawn 1 when I need a few laughs. The awkward wedding toasts, Bella having to beg Edward for sex on her own honeymoon, the wolves "talking" to each other, Bella's bloodshakes - everything about it is a flippin' riot!

And yet, the Critics Choice also did a poll, with over a million votes, and the Twilight sage won for Best Franchise of all time, beating James Bond, Harry Potter, Superman, Jurassic Park, Spiderman and Star Wars. So, it's all in who you ask. My sister, an intelligent, beautiful, brainy, sane wife and mother of two lurves Edward, and I am "not allowed to look at him". It's all in perspective. I don't get it myself, but the audience reaction to Pattinson and Lautner's many Shirtless! scenes (from when my sister dragged me to the third one) was bizarre and hysterical.

I have a blog bud who is awesome and gorgeous and the nicest gal in the world and she loves Twilight. I like Kevin Smith movies and I know there are plenty of people out there who think that he is an epic douche, so I guess it is all in perspective. Although I have never gotten a Jay and Silent Bob tattoo or made a Chasing Amy fanvid, so there ya go.
