I know some have widely speculated that Janet was being blacklisted because of the Super Bowl incident, but no one admitted it.  (Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake's career continued to pop off.) It's bittersweet to have this speculation confirmed (kind of). |

I hate to be petty but for sure she's had some surgical help with her face lately, particularly those cheeks. Her skin looked pulled back tight enough to scream. |

They were gorgeous and just kept getting stuff done that wasn't needed! |

The feminist in me says what happened to her is appalling and I should be enraged. But then I remember the dreadful way she treated Michael's kids during the whole granny is gone fiasco and the mom in me says, "eh fuck her" I’ve alwats wondered if Janet’s nonchalant attitude toward the kids is because she’s knows they aren’t Michael’s - biologically anyway. I got the impression she was just over the whole charade. |

They were his kids whether they were bio or adopted. And for her to treat them as less than is seriously messed up. I think she'd be chill if it was like everyone acknowledged, yeah they were Michael kids in that he raised them; but wonder if it has to do with the lying. I cannot imagine another reason why she'd be so dismissive of them, especially Paris. Or maybe there are things we don't know about. I still like Janet, bad plastic surgery and all and it sucks that she was basically by Moonves. It's a whole lot of racism, sexism, and misogyny are wrapped up into one. TBH though I'm like yeah you're Michael's kids - but I roll my eyes when I hear Paris talking about the trails and tribulations of growing up a black woman. SMH. |
