Gawker breaks it all down, thinking it's truly a hoax (like, really breaks it down). I don't know. I guess I'm 50/50 on it being a hoax and real. This seems soooo over done to try and promote a movie. Not even a good movie or one that anyone should or will give a shit about. Doing some sort of prank like this IMO would make people not go and see the film. Of course, one of the posters (Fleur-de-lit) from Gawker sum it up for me:

I think she is a super smart young lady.

I thought the same thing at first, but actually I probably would have chickened out like this girl did (not saying that is a bad thing!). She's in a different country, traveling with her MOM, and it wasn't just any older guy hitting on her, it was a movie star who she obviously likes, since she had just been to his play. That's got to be intimidating as hell. Plus he wasn't being sweet, or cool, or funny- just sleazy and gross, going straight from "hello" to "how long are you in town? Should I get a room?" Ick! |
