I thought that a surgeon wouldn't put a lap band in a minor...kind of like how a minor is not supposed to have plastic surgery.

When I read the initial rumour, a while back, about Courtney's own lap band the story also said that she had to go doctor shopping for it because she in no way met the usual criteria for such surgery: she wasn't obese and only wanted it so that she could look emaciated. So, if that's true, a doctor who might go ahead with the surgery on her anyway might also be willing to operate on an unwilling child as well. On this topic, I've always wondered how Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan managed to get boob jobs as teens ...

Please. Plastic surgeons without morals are rife, esp. in Hollywood. How else do you explain all the hideous people there? How else do you explain Joan Rivers, Melanie Griffith, Michael Jackson?

And having qualms about doing stuff on minors? I've seem stories about mothers (non-celebs) taking kids as young as five to get bikini waxes, not to mention all those birthday boob jobs for 13 year olds. Money talks. With celebs, so does fame and power.

I'm going to regret asking this, but what would five year olds even have to wax?

Speaking of crappy parents, Britney not only bleached the hair of little JJ and SPF, she supposedly also tried to get their teeth whitened. Their BABY TEETH.
