Aww yiss. I've banned myself from watching any of the games. This guy I was seeing decided I was his BoSox good luck charm because every time I watched they won. Watched Game 1, they won. Didn't watch 2 or 3 (just to see) and... weird. haha. I'm really superstitious, guys! My friend WENT to Busch Stadium tonight and said, "OH MY GOD, the end was SO GOOD." I said, "Shut UP. I didn't even get to SEE it!" (Surely DVRing it wouldn't be bad luck, right?  ) |

I keep falling asleep before the game ends and missing all the good parts. So I'm thinking coffee and maybe a nap today.
Some of my dad's friends are in St Louis for the games, but they ended up at a bar last night watching it because tickets were so expensive-on StubHub yesterday SRO's were $500. (They got decent priced hotel rooms via booking right after the all star game)

Ellsbury between first and second had me on my feet! Then when Carpenter HIT his team-mate with the ball before finally being out...great game, but still must be said; LOVE YOU RED SOX!! Also, I wanted to tape up the mouths of the f***ing inane sportscasters! Shut up and let me watch the damn game! |

Although my beloved Cardinals lost, the team I watched all season just didn't show up. While it was a sloppy series for both teams, the Sox were able to capitalize on the Cards mistakes and Big Papi was a juggernaut. Congrats to the Boston Red Sox and you Sox fans; I tip my cap.

Pitchers and catchers reported last week, restoring equilibrium to my world. I was bummed I won't be able to make it to spring training this year, but then one of the team's beat reporters tweeted that it was 87 degrees on February 15th. Ugh, I don't care how dry that heat is, that's just not right. Anyway, my brother, friend and I are already marking our calendars and plotting our strategy for hitting up the best giveaway games.
