Unfortunately, as a Montreal fan I know all about how obnoxious some fans can be. I am always excited for our playoff runs...from my good 600km away. I went to a 2014 playoff game and we booked it back to our hotel because people were going insane.
That being said, I would kill for tickets to a game. I went to the game where they clinched a playoffs spot and it was madness. So much fun!
Is it 8:07 yet??
ETA: Well...that was painfully dull. On to the next one!

Royals vs Jays: nice to see the Jays get a win but damn, the Royals are relentless! It's going to be tough to beat them three more times.

I didn't watch last night. Went to the movies then watched election coverage. Tonight is going to be brutal...I don't know if my nerves can take it.

It's 5-0 Royals and it is only the 2nd. Definitely brutal. I hate they are playing 3 days in a row too.

I'm a happy gal tonight. I'm a White Sox fan (who were beyond horrible this year), so I'm rooting for the Royals since they're from our division. I'm also giddy that the Cubs lost. My one boss is a big Cubs fan, so I feel a little bad rooting against them, but there are a ton of bandwagon jumpers, primarily 20somethings using the Cubs as a reason to get drunk and act stupid. I really prefer the city not be trashed, so go Mets!!!

There, I said it.

ROYALS!
And yet - my heart is heavy for the Blue Jays. Such inspiring underdogs.

That was a helluva almost comeback. The 8 and 9th innings were crazy! Bummed the Jays lost but I really enjoyed watching them all through the playoff run. I think I may even watch the world series anyways. No strong feelings on who wins but I guess I'll root for the Royals since it was the KC library that started that highly amusing Twitter feud. Which TPL graciously conceded after the game

God...the two Giants were still fumbling over the ball while Gordon was rounding third... The bar I was at was losing it's collective shit at that point. I think a win would've actually resulted in some cardiac arrests (and not rioting - you stay classy San Francisco). Coulda...woulda...shoulda.... Don't get me started on the Joe Buck sucking off Mad Bummy every two seconds (and the fact that he had a really generous strike zone to hit while the KC pitcher's was not so). Fox did a replay once that showed numerous pitches called strikes that were outside of "the box". I don't understand why the hell there is even an ump behind home plate. We have the technology to stick a camera and radar gun back there, no need to leave it to human error/bias anymore. Urgh...I think the biggest killer is that I don't believe KC will be back anytime soon. We blew 29 years of saved up luck on one run and fucked it up. I have never been so happy to have been so wrong!!!
