I felt bad for Barca, even though he was a major dick.
Doctore's gonna be majorly annoyed.
So what's left without his wife? His wife's memory to motivate him? Inter-gladiator politics? Anyone think Hannah's character set up someone to kill Sura on the road.
I did like seeing Spartacus act out his various methods of escape. But I'm getting tired of the blood curtains everywhere. I get it, it's bloody, it's Rome, f*ck.

Batiatus clearly set up to have Sura killed. Batguy thinks that he also thinks that he did the same thing to Doctore's wife. He thought that the look on Doctore's face, going from majorly pissed and knowing he was drugged to a look of realization seeing Sura dead was because it also happened to him.

I felt so sad for Pietros. Hopefully he's with Barca now in the afterlife.

The first episode was so bad. I'd read that Lucy Lawless had said the show found its groove around episode five but I thought that was just the usual sort of excuse that never turns out to be true. Well, I was wrong. For a few episodes now Spartacus hasn't just been promising, it's been genuinely entertaining. And after episode nine, I think Lucretia has definitely shed the tag of "poor man's Atia" that Rome fans gave her. She's her own badass self.
