angelaudie, I feel bad for not caring that much about the wife either. Oh, well...
Thanks for the workout video. Jai (Varro) is a hot, little piece. I really like his character. Maybe it was his pivotal scene in the last ep. Goodness...I wanted him to do it again as well.

That workout video? Wow. That's why actors make the big bucks. I would never have that kind of discipline.

Yeah, I couldn't care one flip about his wife. And they can't drag that out forever. Gotta resolve that soon or it's going to become comical with all her ghostly whisperings and advice. Oops. Too late!
ETA: forgot to say that I also, have decided to just watch it for the mancandy.

That's a good point. I need some fiduciary motivation.

Wow. Dare I say that was actually an entertaining episode? Oh sure I saw Shadow of Death rising after being "killed" coming a mile away but still the fight was pretty awesome (I knew Spartacus would live but I was worried about Crixus).
Baiticus is one cold mofo! And Lucretia soooo knows!
Yeah, might as well tattoo "Dead woman walking!" on Lucretia's handmaid's head.

IMDB lists the season as having about 5 or 6 episodes left. For some reason that seems like a long season for show with such a narrow focus. Mind you, I'm totally not complaining. Although they can keep their full frontals, gross. Seeing the gladiators in their little bandage shorts is a lot hotter to me.
I didn't know Baticus was that nasty!
I also think (and the previews seem to point to) Spartacus will reunite with his wife at some point...and it won't end well. Will the rest of the season deal with his embracing the gladiator life? What will they do for season 2? Again, I'm not complaining, just curious as to how this'll work. At some point they'll move away from the arena, maybe?

They HAVE to give him a reason to live that isn't connected with his wife. If they can't do that, it's worse than I thought.

Am I happy there will be no more "Kill them all!" montages? Yep! Do I think we will never hear about Sura again? Not even close! I kinda had a feeling Sura wasn't long for this world. It leaked out an actress to play a love interest for Spartacus has been cast.
Oh I'm sure he's pissed! He will definitely scream at him and maybe rough him up a bit. I don't think he'll completely beat him up though. The look on his face when she saw dead Sura leads me to believe that he does feel bad for Spartacus.
So, Lucretia is just as evil as her husband. YIKES! Varro continues to be awesome and a true friend. Yeah, he's totally doomed isn't he?
