I guess that dress is basically her uniform at this point but I don't love the hair.

Oof. The dress looks so heavy, and her hair and make-up so bland. Not loving it.

I used to not care for my Beyoncé but now, I'm totally over her and done with her. I'm also disappointed in John Legend and Common for that stunt they pulled. I can't believe they didn't let Ledisi perform the song, as she is the one who sang it in the movie and has a much better voice for it than Beyoncé. Ugh. And Beyoncé was not asked to perform it, she asked to do it and everyone went along with it. Sad.

She stripped that song of everything that made it haunting and beautiful and in the end made it all about Beyoncé again.

She stripped that song of everything that made it haunting and beautiful and in the end made it all about Beyoncé again. Technically, she can hit every note, but there is absolutely no soul, no emotion, no grit, nor any power in her voice. She could have been singing about vacuum cleaners tonight. She is awful. The opening note of Ledisi's version gave me chills. I felt nothing from Beyonce. And all the extra runs were show-boaty and unnecessary. She looked like a selfish fool tonight.

Why was she singing the song tonight? Why wasn't Ledisi?

That is some bullshit. Then she wins for a song that was written by 9 people but 8.left on the credits because they just left the person out.
I hope the day comes when her hype dies. Thieving bitch. To have the gall to ask to sing someone else's song on the night they are nominated for a Grammy. Shameless.

Nothing in that article says she asked to sing the song, but to intro them. John and Common could have said no, pretty sure Beyonce couldn't storm the stage and force them to make her sing. Ledisi was never going to perform on the Grammys so Bey didn't steal a spot from her.
They could have had Ledesi sing if they wanted to, the, but sure it's much easier to blame the woman in the situation.

The producers are at fault for offering, or even suggesting that Beyonce sing. What Beyonce should have done was shown a little grace, humility, and decency and allowed Ledisi, who was actually in the movie plaing Mahalia, sing the song, and intro Common/John Legend. This isn't about pitting women against women, or a huge star against an unknown entity. This is about Beyonce's out of control ego. Plain and simple.
