I got irritated by her weave at the Grammy's.
It just kept getting all in her face. I mean seriously, is it that important to her to have that long "white girl hair" that she can flip around? I kept asking myself why would she wear something like that and it kept getting in her eyes while she was trying to dance.
I would love to see her rock a short haircut.

***Creepin back in.*** I bet the Turner comparison either came from her ass or from her people. Note to Bouncy: You are living proof that the stereotype of all black people being natural singers in a crock of shit. You can't sing. You ain't Tina. You ain't ever gonna be Tina. You can do your thing for six hundred more years and you will still never be any where near Tina because Tina has natural talent. Rehearsing to death does not create talent. The screeching and straining like a constipated mule ain't cuttin it. ***Creepin back out.*** Bey has talent, but she's not, nor will she ever be, Tina Turner. This is going back a page or two about the oddness of her relationship with Jay-Z. I remember reading an article about their wedding, and how the date was chosen because of their belief in numerology. I think they share the same birthday, and they doubled the month & date & viola...that was their wedding day. I guess they used the oranges to touch hands, but not have it be a high valued shot of them actually holding hands. I guess.

They were both born on the 4th. So they married on 4-4. It is their lucky number. They both have matching IV tats.
I can't believe I know this.

Every singer today gets compared to someone from the past and Beyonce is sometimes compared to Tina or Diana Ross. I don't think either idea is really pushed the way, say Britney/Madonna was. Of course, Beyonce and Tina performed together at the Grammys a couple years back which probably helped that particular comparison along. It really blows my mind that people would say that Beyonce can't sing. Is it because her voice isn't as good as singers like Etta James and Tina Turner? Because I think there is wide spectrum of vocal ability between 'Etta James' and 'Can't sing'. I mean, I can't sing. This person? Can sing. Beyonce most definitely can sing. Those who don't like her may not like her tone or the sound/texture of her voice, but she can sing and sings better than most today. She sings better than Whitney and Mariah right now, although I think Whitney and Mariah have/had better tones/textures to their voices. Of course Mariah and Whitney were great in their heyday and far superior to Beyonce now, however, late nights, Crystal and overextending the voice (in the case of Mariah) and drugs (in the case of Whitney) has ruined their voices I am not a big fan of Beyonce and I don't have any of her albums (I have the Destiny's Child Greatest Hits), but I know that she is better than most of the singers today, including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and most definitely Taylor Swift, who we all can agree can't sing. The only singers that I prefer to Beyonce in terms of the young singers are Pink and Christina. I think Pink is grossly underrated and I just don't understand why. She has a unique tone and texture to her voice and has range. And, unlike Beyonce, she does not have an irritating tone. Pink has a tone and texture that is perfect for radio where you want to keep listening to her voice. Of course there are tons of other singers who are not that famous that can sing, but they are not that famous. Many of them are r & b singers who will never get their due. I think a lot of people confuse singing ability with tone when it comes to Beyonce and that is why some say she can't sing. You can be a great singer and have a vocal tone or texture that is not appealing to some. That's why Randy Jackson on American Idol often says to some contestants that they have a voice that will sound good on record or on radio. Not all great singers will have a voice that sounds good on record or radio.

Though Beyonce wears weaves, there are black women who have long, straight hair. My mom is one of them.

Beyonce can sing, but she sounds like she was trained to sing .. like a person who decided they wanted to be a singer and took many lessons to get there. She sounds on key in her songs, but too technical and not all that pleasant. I think her voice lacks the raw ability and emotion of someone who was born with the talent (ie Pink, Christina, Whitney, Mariah)
If that makes any sense.

She a singer, but can't sing from her soul. That version of At Last was mediocre (IMO) yet passable, but compared to Etta or Christina, it was amateurish. I feel like they can connect to a song. I can't think of any song that Beyonce was connected to. Pink: Family Portrait, Mariah: Vision of Love, Whitney: Greatest Love of All, Beyonce: ? I think it's the fact that she's whipping around those long blonde tracks that's the issue. It's the issue for me. YMMV.

I think the hair is part of her choreography.

You know what I think is her major problem? Big time, good old fashioned OVEREXPOSURE. She is EVERYWHERE. And she really doesn't need to be.
