Yay! I love the show and Timothy Olyphant. He seems like a cool, low-key dude and is nice to look at.

Gary is entering too stupid to live territory. I get how Gary's optimism must have a breathe of fresh air to Winona after living with Raylan's cynicism but geez! Gary is foolishly optimistic. I just don't get what Winona sees in the guy. He's scared of his own shadow and apparently so dumb he thought getting involved with Kentucky's answer to the mob would end well! Not to mention he didn't know that offing yourself guarantees your loved ones will not get any of the life insurance money! Winona really owes Raylan a thank you whether she wants to admit it or not. Gary may be optimist but the cynic is the one that ultimately saved his neck.
Thank goodness Raylan got his hat back!

I had very little sympathy for Gary right now. At first, I thought he might be visiting too stupid to live territory, but then he thought suicide was the answer. I realized then, he'd taken up permanent residence.
There's no way Winona's marriage is going to last. She's running from Raylan's cynicism, but relied on him, trusted him to save her husband from himself. The insecurities are going to continue to mount. How she resisted providing some horizontal TLC with a banged up Raylan is beyond me.

Poor, dumb Gary. I'm just glad he didn't get Malik Yoba's character killed...I thought Billy Mac was beating him in the head.
"Raylen, your grind is exhausting..."

Yeah, I was worried about Malik Yoba. I knew they were going to do something & I didn't want to see it.
bklynred, I gave up an "I bet!" when Winona said that. Can't wait for next week's ep. Boyd is evil and freaking creepy. Walter Goggins does evil good.

This isn't new but it's an analysis of Bulletville. I'm already jonesing for it. Stuff like this renews my faith (momentarily) in Hollywood.

It was everything that makes the series good, all rolled up into one episode. Raylan & Boyd were like a badass Batman & Robin. Boyd is a terrific character, and his character arc has been amazing. I actually felt bad for him when his people were killed. At first, I thought he was doing his messiah bit to get out of prison, but he really & truly believed in what he was doing.

Crapola, I just read that Season 2 doesn't premiere till 2011. This is one of the shows I miss most.

Am I the only watching season 2?
So, Daniel got off the island only end up the moron son of a one cold blooded woman! Mags scares me more than Boyd or his daddy ever did. Ice runs in that woman's veins. At least Boyd and his dad were at least capable of caring about people other than themselves! I don't think Mags actually cares about poor Loretta. I think this is about fulfilling some personal fantasy of having a daughter (you know an extension of herself). Loretta seems like a bright girl. I don't think she buys Mags's explanation about what happened to Loretta's father.
Timothy Olyphant and Natalie Zea have fabulous chemistry so I'm digging Raylan and Winona's reunion. Can't say I blame Winona for deciding to be late for work. I'm sure it was a tough call, having hot sex with Raylan or showing up to work on time, but I think she made the right call! I really liked the last scene between Raylan and Winona. I hope it was the start of Raylan actually opening up to Winona. I also suspect that Winona got pregnant when they were married and she lost the baby. Perhaps that was the beginning of the end for the marriage. Come on, you know Winona needed to talk about it (assuming I'm right) and Raylan would throw himself in work and avoid discussing his emotions.
I rolled my eyes at Gary's antics. So, he thinks because he's a salesman he can land Winona back? Sorry Gary but the only thing that endangers Winona and Raylan's relationship is Raylan. If Winona does go back to Gary it won't be because she's decided she really loves Gary. It will be because Raylan blew it, probably with his temper and lack of communication, and Winona decided that at Gary is good enough. Gary doesn't realize it but Winona merely settled for him. If Raylan can get it together she will stay with him.
Tim is made of awesome. I love that this show allows other characters to shine. Raylan is obviously a good shot but Tim is a freaking sniper! It makes sense that Raylan would have Tim make the tough shot instead of him.
Ava and Boyd living together reveal was the biggest WTF?!
