Would it be wrong of me to throw Center Stage and Bring It On in the ring, for starters?

Memento Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Bridget Jones's Diary (I) Lord of the Rings Trilogy (with the Fellowship of the Ring being my favourite) The Pianist (Polanski, I know, but it's Adrien Brody who makes the film work) Brokeback Mountain Finding Nemo Pirates of the Caribbean; The Curse of the Black Pearl (I actually think that Depp's performance there is one for the ages) Monsters Inc The Fast and the Furious (the 2001 movie. Yes, I have no shame) Amelie
...and many more! I've noticed that I like many movies from the beginning of the decade but think I just watched more movies back then....

I'm going to probably be in the minority on some of these, but here's a list of films I liked most this decade: LOTR Trilogy Memento Moulin Rouge Gladiator Shrek/ Shrek 2 UP The Incredibles Little Miss Sunshine Slumdog Millionaire Million Dollar Baby (loved Morgan Freeman) In the Shadow of the Moon An Education Children of Men Constant Gardner Kill Bill (vol 1 & 2) Closer (loved Clive Owen) Requiem for a Dream Mullholland Drive House of Sand and Fog Michael Clayton Pianist (director issues aside) Far From Heaven Eastern Promises Royal Tennenhaums Star Trek 2009 Before Sunset Amelie I saw The Lord of the Rings saga more than any other film this decade I'm sure. I know I'm missing some films... and there are several you all have mentioned that I've been meaning to see. I feel like a bad film lover for neglecting them! ETA-- Center Stage!! One of my all-time guilty pleasures. LOVE it!

solly79, I have a shameless love for the first Fast and Furious movie too. And I loved The Pianist. Brilliant performance by Brody.

solly79, I have a shameless love for the first Fast and Furious movie too. I haven't seen it in years but back then I owned the film on video (!) and watched it more often than can be possibly healthy. Vin and Paul were unbelievably cute then I haven't seen any of the sequels because I loved the first one so much. There are lots of great films mentioned in this thread, love it!

I will also chip in a very enthusiastic "2nd!" or "3rd!" for Eternal Sunshine as well as The Constant Gardener.
Can't believe no one mentioned Adaptation, I've only seen it once but I still think about it from time to time.
As the New Yorker critic, Darjeeling is also my favorite out of the Anderson movies I have seen.
Chicago is the only musical movie I can say I love, and that says a lot considering I hate Renee Zellweger with a passion and Richard Gere's voice was creepy. Queen Latifah and Zeta-Jones was amazing, I really didn't expect it out of them!
I don't know if anyone's mentioned Pan's Labyrinth.
