The Birdcage is a lot of fun. I watch bits of it whenever it's on TV. Has anyone seen La Cage aux Folles? My dad keeps telling me I should watch it, but I haven't yet.
And, like I was saying in the other thread (awkward, embarrassed shuffle), The Jerk holds a special place in my heart.

Dumb & Dumber. It's got exactly the kind of silly, ridiculous stuff that make me laugh so hard I can't breathe. I know a lot of people find Jim Carrey to be too much, and I kind of agree, but I love many of his movies. Liar, Liar. Ace Ventura. Me, Myself and Irene. Bruce Almighty.

Oh, Airplane and The Jerk are as good as it gets for me. So quotable. Ditto Spinal Tap, and South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut. But perhaps some less popular ones on my Funny List include the Woody Allen flick Deconstructing Henry, Mommie Dearest, and Showgirls. You can't tell me those last two ain't comedies.

I loved The Princess Bride when I was younger.
And The Notebook made me laugh out loud.

Ditto Airplane, Spinal Tap, Naked Gun, and Showgirls.
I nominate: Soapdish, Where's Poppa?, Animal House, Blazing Saddles, South Park, Arthur, the first Austin Powers, the first Bad News Bears, Heathers, Kentucky Fried Movie, Murder By Death, Raising Arizona, The Ref, Slap Shot, Top Secret.
Not the funniest movies ever, but other comedies I love are Diner, Groundhog Day, and Tootsie.

If I can pick only one as funniest of all time it has to be Young Frankenstein.

The Ringer was really funny, and heartwarming too. Which is a suprise, but I really liked it.

I have, and I loved it. I cannot stand The Birdcage, because I saw the original French version first. But one of my friends who saw The Birdcage first, prefers that to the original, so keep that in mind if you plan on seeing it. For me anyway, La Cage Aux Folles is waaaay better than The Birdcage.
I would nominate that for the funniest movie ever, after Clue of course.

Thanks for the input, lpatrice. I will keep that in mind.
As for Clue, amen. "It...the...flames...flames...on the side of my face!"
